I got a call today - on callback it was a modem.  Not amusing.

Recieved another call today.  It was someone telemarketing for the "DAILY NEWS" offering subscriptions.

They call me everyday but holidays ... everyday like 4 or 5 times my cell is full of their numbers. Everytime they call me they say hello? and i said hello then end..

I receive calls from this number every hour... It is beyond annoying. When I pick up there is Nothing. I leave the phone on speaker for a minute and then after silence there is a busy signal. This has to stop.

They have called me four times in a row, all within minutes of each other. All hang ups. This is ridiculous! What can be done about it?

Well, They called me like a gazzillion times a day, probably around 20 times, 5 in the morning, 8 in the day, 4 at night, and 2 at mid-night. They are so f*****g annoying!!!!! I just screamed "Hello, um... I have been getting bull $#!T calls from you, and I need you to put me on your do-not-call list."

I have opted out of anonymous callers AND I have told as much to the Daily News on more than one occasion. It doesn't work.

i have been getting calls from that idiotic number for 2 years now...and they sometimes they answer...and say it's the dailynews...other times, they ask for some random person...forget the name...or USUALLY..they just breathe real deep...and then HANG UP!! I HAVE MEMORIZED THAT NUMBER and REFUSE TO ANSWER!!

getting calls twice a day sleepy girl's voice says "hello" as if in a stupor and hangs up. since getting a phone last month (hadn't had a landline in ten years) get these every day

They call me 2x a day, for the last month regardless of asking them to stop as well. I stored it in my cell as a don't pick up and it helps.

I get it twice a day and usually they just hang up but last time a woman was laughing ?! what the f* ?!?!

Half the time when they call, they hang up. Other times they have called saying they are from the NY Daily News asking for "Miss West". I have told them to delete my phone number, stop calling, and have threatened to press charges, and nope, still getting phonecalls.  It's really pissing me off!  I even tried calling the number back and I didn't get an answer.

there was nothing and a hang up thats it.... i get it 2 times a day. if i find out woh it is, im gunna kill them.

I get calls to my work number almost every week.  
I tell them every time this is a corporate number, but they keep calling.

It is the New York Daily news,They call 2 times a day and tell them im not from new york and dont want thier paper

I just got one of these calls and I got this phone number two days ago. Are they just dialing random numbers?! They hung up when I answered and when I googled the number I ended up here. I hope I don't get any more calls from these people...

if this is the news paper they do not listen i accidently signed up for it and told them to remove my name... they must be bored

They call, I say hello, they say hello, then they hang up.
I call back and get a modem, or fax or something.  I think I will start sending massive faxes to this number.

yay same thing they dont talk just keep calling 2-3 times a day

When I try to call back to this number 800-878-3460, no Answer, but just ringing frequently. No Voice Msg. I receive call every day 2/3 times.

Those people keep calling me too... It seems like they are mute cause they dont talk..

Today was Lucky day to get hit by this #, kept calling be like no tomorow and was no one was talking,whoever it is just keep doing ur thing u ganna get caught very soon, shame on you mr phony call maker

12:30 pm received call and no one was on line

Now they are using the number to send faxes.  When calling the number you get a recording that tells you to leave a message and they will call you back.  it is listed as need insurance.  The calling fax number and name are blocked and that is a vilation of FTC tel proction act of 1991.

Have been getting calls from this bunch at the NY Daily News too. Nobody ever stays on the line long enough for me to blast them. Why would they waste their time & mine trying to sell a NY newspaper to someone in Delaware?

I want the calls to stop, I have been getting calls from this number twice a day, every day.

the unknown caller with the above number was probably calling from a computer. they (twice the've called) made me think that they were calling from a community organization and trying to welcome me as a new resident. since i'm not i right away check if it is a scam. i end up checking feedbacks from this website..
