They keep changing the number they call my from because I keep blocking them and the calls will just come through on a different number.  We had their service for a year.  We discontinued their service and they have call me weekly since.  I have requested they leave me alone MANY times and they don't listen.  I can't seem to get them to leave me alone.

It is true green and since we cancelled there service they have been calling me non stop. PIA really what in "I don't want your service" do they not understand!

The problem here is that TruGreen Sales Center loads all the phone numbers into their computer's Auto Dialer system.  So you end up getting multiple calls from different people.  The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.  Welcome to Hotel TruGreen.  You can check out any time you like, but we will NEVER leave you alone!!!!

I get call Lmost daily, 2 to 3 timez per day. I'm in the do not call list Nos have been for 5 or 6 years. About a month ago I filed a complaint with the FCC. Nothing has happened yet. I'm still getting the annoying, disturbing and unwanted calls.

I wish the FCC do something about it soon.

they just called me and told me they were the electric company and they were gonna shut my power off unless i paid the technician $1500.  I explained that I was a detective and would meet the technician at the store, he said "shove your gun up your a** gringo"  then hung up

Sorry Bob but Trugreen does tele-market several times after you tell them to stop. I canned their service 2 years ago and have reiterated to them several times to stop calling my cell yet they still do since its a different person from the company calling and they claim that "there was no note of it" and they promise to stop after that (they never do) Our number is on the DNC list as well but I guess that doesn't even matter. I came to the point of reporting them to the BBB, as I've seen others have as well and I'm hoping that will be the final be-all end-all. And if TruGreen was so reputable as you claim then why the daily calls with no message? Why call close to 10pm at night? Why a 9am call on a Saturday? Yes this site is to warn of scams but also to track down what phantom 800 is calling and being intrusive as well.

What a surprise.... the same people stopped calling my house and now they call my cell. Now I have to request the also put my cell on their "Do not call" list. If your number is online someplace - maybe on an online resume posting - that may be where they are getting your number from.

Yup. Same here. Plus they call from an unlimited number multiple times per day. Never leave a message. I've answered and told them that and they deny calling multiple times. Seriously? Now I answer it and just set the phone down so they can hear me working. They call back 2 or 3 times in a row when I do that. Figure I might as well waste their time.

We used Tru Green for years, works pretty good, price was little high for service provided. I canceled service due to this kind of calls. I get consistent calls without them leaving a message and that annoying dial tone sound after the call.  I called them up to request to not include me in their calling list and also told them that if I want other services done, I can check their website for it.  The calls keep calling none stop. Since they havent stopped,  I CANCELED their service.  Their lost. freakin idiots.  I still get calls but got them on my call blocker.

Get Call Blockers to block unwanted calls. They work but I noticed I get more Robocalls once I installed it. Once an unwanted number calls I just press the blacklist button and that number is blocked.

Filing a complaint with them on the CO no call list today.  Caller did not identify himself, and asked for an incorrect person.  Well perhaps I'll wait and see if they call back or not.  But a complaint is in this persons future if they keep on calling here looking for Dianne Tappy.  Who the heck is that!?  STOP CALLING ME!  This caller came off as a telemarketer or a debt collector.  When I asked who they were, they dude hung up on me.  Great phone method - jerk.

TruGreen is a lawncare company.  Called me twice today!

TruGreen are an absolute PTA.  Multiple unsolicited calls.  Not wanted under any circumstances.

I just tell them they have reached the office of Mitt Romney.  

I got a call from this number, 800-878-4733. The message starts out clear, but as she says the company name the line gets quiet, where you can barely hear. Then it goes back to normal. But she was not offering me services, they apparently wanted to offer me a job, from my resume on Monster.com. Thing is, I have no experience with lawn care so I am/was hesitant to call back because I don't want my number on some kind of new call list for them to "harass" me. Also, what throws me off is, that she provided a different number to call, to get back to her. That number is 717-421-7134. Anyone else have this situation?

I did contact Tru-Green for an estimate on my lawn. Thier office is 400 miles from where I live. (although they have local trucks) They estimated the size of my lawn from a satellite image.  I pulled up the satellite image as well. You can't tell the size of my lawn because of the trees. The satellite is looing from the south and you can't see my yard for the trees. You can tell that there is a large circular drive in front and you can't see the large patio in the back. Their estimate was 3 x the cost of another company that came out and measured my yard. This new internet business movement, misses the personal touch and in a service industry, the personal on site contact is needed. My lawn is actually 2300SF. Their satellite estimate was over 4500 SF

I don't know how TruGreen got my number, but they've been calling me incessantly for DAYS. I told them I did not inquire about their services and to please remove me from their calling list. Since then I have received 11 calls in two days! They're bothering me at work. I've never even heard of this company before, but I sure as hell will never use them for anything in the future. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Come on... Notice how the sequence goes.  1st trashing an old local company (likely very loyal), next a "chain".  And then, "Oh boy, a weed free lawn and a flowering tree..."  "Honey come out and take a look at this!"

Unbelievable.  But then again, I guess this is what we should expect from a company that spams your cell phone.  Reputable?  Yes, you certainly are building a reputation.

TruGreen Spam.  They've hijacked my cell.  I have NEVER filled in a form or called TruGreen (800) 878-4733. I asked nicely to be removed, then another call, ask again, another call (8 times in one day).  TruGreen should not spam people.  Does TruGreen really think that one would want to do business with them after all the pranks and hassle TruGreen conducts?  Based on how they treat people, I guess the TruGreen poor performance would play out like this... "Please TruGreen don't ruin my back yard like last time", "OK Sir". next time "TruGreen after you left my yard looked like it got hit with RoundUp. I called to cancel but here you are again". And so on.  This is the only company that has hijacked my cell phone in 17 years.

I'll echo what Bob said: if you give someone your number as part of an inquiry, or you have service through them, the the DNC registry does not apply.  Tru-Green can be a great service (depending on your local service techs), and they are a legitimate company.  They used to call me to upsell their services, but after the 2nd call for that I just told them I would never buy on an upsell and that I will call them when I want anything more than weed-n-feed treatments from them.  They immediately stopped sales calling me.  

For me, the calls are now always to let me know a day or two before they come to spray my lawn.  My only beef with them is they keep changing what number they call me from, so it always shows as unknown.  I think this is the 4th number I have for them in my phone now.

I have Tru-Green service, and have been happy with them for three years.  They are about the same price as my old, local company, as well as another chain I used to use.  Since they started, my lawn is completely weed feed and a flowering tree that was near death is vigorously growing.  They always call before they come so I know not to let the dogs out in the yard for 24 hours.  If you gave them your number as part of an inquiry to them, the do not call list doesn't apply.   Tru-Green is a reputable company.  If you ask them to stop calling (instead of complaining about them on this website, which they probably don't read) they will stop calling.  This website should be for reporting credit car scammers and other fraudsters calling people at random with no regard for the do not call registry.

I wanted a quote... so I was stupid and gave them my number.  They call constantly now.  On the hour, every hour.  Never leaving messages.  I think everyone in america should call this number on the hour too.

As early as 7, as late as 8pm.  I definitely am not interested and will never get their services because of this behavior.

I was smart, I gave Tru Green my work number. I only have 2,000 SQF lot and they were $100plus more then what a local company offered. They didn't offer to come out to place like the other place did, they just went on google earth i assume.
