I have been getting calls from this number as well.  When I answer no one is there so I hang up.  Now checking my credit report I see they have listed $169.00 for collections but I have no debt at all so no clue what this is.  When I called the number I got some company in Florida offering a free trip to the Bahamas.  I got a letter from them a couple weeks ago offering the same trip but through it away.  

So how do these credit bureaus work?  Just anyone can say I owe a debt and the credit bureau lists it?  Is there no proof required?  I will contact our State Attorney Generals office also and Experian to find out what is happening.  This is crazy.  

They called, I called back. Auto system was a bit ridiculous but I managed to get through and it was a legit collection for my SiriusXM bill. Basically I bought a new vehicle, switched receivers and thought it was paid electronically on my account. Not so and it went unpaid unbeknownst to me. She was very nice, explained that it was not in collections yet but was in their office to handle. I paid it over the phone, it showed on my statement and I was good to go.

The company appears to be Collecto, Inc., a large Massachusetts company operating under the name "EOS CCA."  The website is http://www.eos-cca.com.  

EOS purports to be a large finance company; the "EOS CCA" debt collection service is only one arm of their operations.  The calls are generally automated, and may violate federal law.

I paid my debt and when they didn't cash my final payment I called and was told that it was paid in full and now it is on my credit report when it should not be

This was the number on my credit report - no name of company - tried calling back and was not able to speak to anyone. We have no idea what the collection is for.

all of a sudden i see a bill on my credit from SPRINT PCS  for over $400.00
I tried to dispute it and according to the credit buereau they verified the debt which i dont know how

I work for a company that services student loans. CCA is a collections company who has a terrible automated system and trying to refer our customers who have defaulted to a company who you can't contact is miserable. i called the number myself, they are legit, they get their information from the companies that the customers default on. They are a collection company people, not just a random company that wants your money, You are all in deep with some company being over 100 days past due on something... that's your problem.

HOWEVER,
CCA has a terrible automated system and they desperately need to update it. HOWEVER, they only get your information from the company that you are past due on.... so blame ATT or VERIZON or whatever company you are past due with

Verizon will if you cancel your service not send you a final bill but instead send the bill to this "CCU" company for collection.  This is a spite job  for cancelling their service and going to another carrier.

They say I owe ATTT over 1500.00 and are taking 115.00 out of my checking account each month. It has bbeen over 3 years since I had ATT phone. If I owed them money why didnt they contact me before now.

Im having same problem with that num. and shows that i have balance of $400 with ATT mobility and it is affecting my credit score badly.
i called to ATT and they have no idea.

This phone number called me 4 times in the space of less than 2 hours this morning.  I called the number and held for an operator, who discovered the company had bad information on the telephone number.  I've gotten calls from a number of creditors trying to track down my phone #'s previous owner, a guy named Derrick, but this company gave me two different names for my number, Alex and James.  Their information was wrong, but they were polite and promised to remove my # from the call list.  Hopefully, they will.

I found this info on my credit report. I keep trying to call the 800# and all it does is ring and ring. Nobody ever answers. It is listed as EOS CCA, 700 Longwater Dr., Norwell MA  02061.  Have NO idea of what this is and the amount they placed into collection is $75. So now I have ding on my record for something I have no knowledge of nor can I find out cuz there is no answer EVER. Im filing with the BBB and maybe my state representative. And now I have to dispute this with the credit agencies as well.

I just discovered they did the same thing to me. They are bringing up a debt  I paid 2 years.

The number is a scam for CCA in MA.  They said I had a verizon account from New England.  I have never been, lived or even visited New England for that matter.  I lived in NewYork all of my life.  But this b***s*** company was able to dump a credit collection on my reoprt.  Now I have to dispute it and get rid once and for all.  I am notiftying the State Attorney Generals office in New York.
