I can  not  got my  Follows  on  my Facebook  and. How  do IT  my  picture on my  Facebook  and  photos  of my friends  

I just got a call from a number that was 800-889-4252. Why can't these people stop calling me? I'm not going to give them any money. Just another scam or telemarketer.

Jessica is the person who called me today from this number (800) 889-4252 and she told me, she was calling me from FACEBOOK...!! I asked her...FACEBOOK? I  know Facebook never calls their customers and they never ask for money; She was on my FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE and told me that I have an amazing PAGE but I could have a better one, so, she asked me for my credit card to charge $1.500...for a "30 DAYS TRIAL"...50 DOLLARS FOR 30 DAYS ADD...OMG...She thought that I was stupid..bad news for her..I am not..!!
I want to report this number (800) 889-4252. , because I am very sure this phone call is SCAM and NOT from FACEBOOK AT ALL!!
Why many people want to get money easily, stealing money to others in different ways?...it's a shame that many people trust on this kind of  unscrupulous people.

Today I received a phone call from this numbers, and she identified as FACEBOOK; Honesty, I didn't trust from the beginning of the conversation, even more, when she ask for my credit card to pay $1.500 Dollars, for $50.oo DOLLARS EVERYDAY X 30 DAYS FOR ADD IN FACEBOOK....!! The lady sent me an email with no Company Logo; I think that FACEBOOK never call customers to promote NOTHING, just because they have all the information available at the end of each FACEBOOK PAGE. I would like to report this phone number  800 889 4252 because I consider it as SCAM.

I wonder how many received these calls because they listed their number publicly or had their accounts hacked.

Some girl named Ashley called me, says she's from Facebook but had trouble answering the simplest of questions about the platform.... "facebook" yeah right SCAMMER!

Interesting! 3 calls from them in the last week. I have used Facebook in the past, but have never given them the phone number they keep calling me on. I conclude it's not a legitimate call.

they've called me for multiple days and leave annoying messages that sound like their in the middle of a conversation with someone else.

NOT a scam - this is Facebook. I run ads with them so they have my number.

The Facebook Advertising Team is real.  I work for them myself.  If you'd like proof, ask them to send you an email.  The link I provided above states that anyone with the email domain of sales.fb.com or fb.com are employees of facebook itself.  

This is legit!  If you are not interested in advertising on Facebook, simply tell us so by phone or email and we will stop calling you.  I promise.

This is indeed Facebook advertising.  I promoted a post on Facebook twice in the last two weeks and I got a message from them today. Someone named Mark I believe. I'm sure it was just a follow up call.

I have gotten several calls from this number and have been making a point of not answering them. It's annoying.

I have a FB page with the above name. I recently made an ad and now that I think about it, it wasn't approved yet. They called my magic jack number and that is on my FB.  Btw-- if u want to work from home visit my FB page. 100% risk free. It's got to be a scam.
1) No caller ID.
2) my cell # is not listed as a business number anywhere, It's my personal UNLISTED cell number.
3) I am on the do not call list.

This is Facebook Marketing team, not a SCAM.

They'll call you to offer consulting to invest in Facebook Ads. They called me after I signed up.

I received a call from the "facebook advertisting team" seems to be a scam.

Could really be from Facebook, then again it could also be some telemarketing firm trying to sell advertising on sites LIKE, but NOT EXCLUSIVELY Facebook.  After all, which would you be more likely to do business with?  A caller saying "This is Mary from WeRobYou.com.  I'm trying to contact you concerning aome advertising we can place on sites LIKE Facebook..." or a caller saying "This is Mary from Facebook, I'm trying to contact you to see if you are interested in improving your company or business advertising on Facebook."???

But since most phone services will allow company names to appear on Caller-ID if the company with the number pays extra to have Caller-ID NOT identify caller name as "Unknown" or "Not Provided," I'd think they'd WISE UP and pay the little bit extra so when they call, my Caller-ID gives the number AND identifies the company/individual as being "Facebook." or "Facebook Support."

Actually, they consider you to have a prior "relationship" with them if you only created a Facebook account but never tried contacting Facebook themselves.  If you have a Facebook account, then you DO have a "prior relationship" with Facebook.

That's funny, their last message a few weeks ago said the same thing.

THIS IS A SCAM and here's the proof.  

They left this message saying they were with FACEBOOK.  They called from a number that others have said identifies themselves as GOOGLE.  Search 800-826-9988 and you will see.  The number they gave as a call back number is different.  Most report that people using that number say they work for GOOGLE.  So obviously this is a telemarketing company trying to sell ads and they are lying about who they are to hep them sell.

PS.  I think all these posts defending this are from this company.  Why would you post as if you know who it is, when clearly you do not.

Person calling from Facebook letting me know about free training  and support programs. Called because i attended a webinar.

It is Facebook marketing, contacting people and companies that they think may be interesting in advertising on Facebook.

I am a social media manager and one of my clients just received a message on his personal facebook account from Marcus wanting him to call this number and talk about HUB.

I get calls like these from 'businesses' from time to time.  My experience is that they are NOT from Facebook.  What they usually end up being are companies that try to improve your presence on FB.  Just like any other .com company trying to improve your Google search ranking.

It is a SCAM, they called and asked how much we spend on Facebook and What was the Website of our client.

They promised they would never call that client and it was just to offer us free support.

Right after we hung up, they called our client directly.

Stay away from them.
