this man is calling my cell and my job with the same bull s*** i don't even reply to that a***ole.

A man named James Johnson called from 210-714-2590. I found the 855-278-3570 number in the letterhead of the notice he sent me via email. He said he was calling me in regards to a payday loan I had taken out in 2012. He said that the payment I made via electronic debit was sent back and now I owed over a thousand dollars. I said that there must be some mistake, as I have never taken out a payday loan. He said it was through an online lender named Splash Cash. I kept explaining that I had never heard of this company and would never take out a payday loan as I view it as legalized loan sharking. He then proceeded to read me my FULL social security number, my previous three addresses, my mother's full name as well as my birth date. I asked him if this was from 2012 then why haven't I been contacted before? He said they made attempts to email me and mail out notices. He said no notices had been returned. I asked him what email address he had and he couldn't tell me. He said how could he know all of that information if it wasn't legitimate. I said I didn't know and said I had to go as I was at work. He then sent me an email from a gmail address with a letter stating I had agreed to pay that amount. I contacted my bank who put a lock on my acct and called and made a police report with the local police department for a case of identity theft. They advised me to call him back and tell them that I never agreed to make a payment as I did not acknowledge that I owed it. I did and he said that was fine, that he would send a process server out to my house either Tuesday or Wednesday. I said I would see them then. I was so angry that I started doing a bit of research on my own. The address listed in the letter head of the document he sent me (which had NUMEROUS grammatical errors) was 5757 Main Street, suite 690 Dallas, Texas 75001. I have been through numerous websites including yellow pages and google maps and this address does not exist. I googled the name of the company to no avail. The email came from a Ralph Rothman, and I could not find a lawyer or anyone associated with a mediation company by that name. One other thing I should mention is that  he asked me if I knew and Audrey or a Glenn or anyone with the birthdate of 12-13-1957. I said no  so now this man is out there with all of my very personal details. I don't intend to let this issue rest and will contact whomever I need to contact to get this man stopped and/or thrown in jail.

Total scams.  Don't give them any money.  Demand a debt validation letter.  There's no way you are going to be arrested for a civil debt.  Don't let these people scare you.

Got several calls from this number by james johnson.  Threats of being sued and jail time. Said I owed a debt for a loan. Paid him $240 and after no paperwork showed up I decided to researcher him. He keeps asking for more money. I have 2 different people & 2 numberscalling me.

Now this jerk is harassing us from another ph#  210-714-2590.  Told him not to call again. He has called 3 Times.   STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call said re:  wire fraud.....said his name is James Johnson
