Got a call at 7pm. Asked for my wife. Said it was Tri State Pediatrics. Informed us that there was an outstanding bill and if we wanted to pay it, now. I never miss a payment and they referenced an address I lived at 2 yrs ago, not my current address. Also, all insurance and billing is in my name, not my wifes. So, I am calling them in the morning to inquire about it. Another funny thing is that my pediatrician is no longer Tri State Peds, it's name changed to Heritage Valley over a year ago. So, why use the old name? Beware, tell them nothing and contact the business they claim to represent, personally!

They left a message for me today.  I tried to call back twice but I just get put on hold.  If they are working for Geisinger, it's a little strange that they just called me now after I payed the bill last week.  It was nothing big but I usually wait to make sure the claim goes through both of our insurances because I've lost money that way in the past.  

Supposedly the 'business office of Geisinger Health Systems' calling about past due balances.  Funny, however, when I hung up, and called the ACTUAL business office of Geisinger Health Systems, they had no record of outstanding balances, as the billing cycle had only JUST hit.  When I told them about the call from the other number, they informed me that they are in no way associated with that number, or the 'collection agency' to which that number is associated with.  I would advise anyone receiving a call from this number to inform the person calling (if they get an actual person) to remove their number from their list, that they KNOW it is a scam, and to contact their local hospital/medical group's billing department themselves.

Automated voice says, "Hello I'm calling about important personal business. Please call me back as soon as possible at the following number 8009001374. Again my number is 8009001374. Thank you. Goodbye."

Heritage Valley is a medical group affliated with hospitals and dr. offices, I only know this because our doctors are affliated with this medical group in the pittsburgh pa and north eastern ohio area.

Just called today, spoke with someone in the "business office" from Heritage Valley.  I asked them repeatedly who they were and what their company did.  They refused to tell me who they were or what they do until I gave them my phone number.  I refused, asked to speak to a supervisor.  Surprisingly they were all "at a business meeting".  I'm calling this a scam until I'm told otherwise.

Calling about important personal information - computer voice

This is collections agency for a local hospital. Is why they called me anyhow. Appears, I have 2 insurances but they only bill 1. Contact with billing department at hospital said they will take care of it but never did. Just turned to collections. So now they are to rebill the 2nd insurance for rest of pmt. But is a real bother the calls drom the 800# because they never speak. Autimated and no ID. I had to deal with same issur with relatives billing since I am POA. and only solution there was record times/dates/who called and I had to make a call to the District Attny Office to solve that one.

It's a medical billing service. They want money from a past due medical bill.

got the call. immediatly called back. said they were looking for my mother. and it was something medical.

These people are working my nerves!  I hate when someone calls and don't leave a message on your voicemail in what it regards too.  I will more than likely call someone back with a voicemail.  I've called the number back numerous of times and I get a voicemail also.

It's NCO Financial attempting to hide their ID from those who know their name.  When messages that identify them fail to get through, they use this one.

Just received a call from this number too, same thing- a computer voice saying its about important personal business and to call back.

Calling 5 times a day!

I got a call from this number this morning. 800-900-1374 the recording said it was personal business. When I called bacl they would not tell me who they were but had me on hold for about 5 min. and them I just hung up.

What is this number regarding? I called back and got someone's voicemail...

Also received a call today to call this number back about important personal information.

A computer voice left a message saying that it was a call about important business information. No other information was left to identify the caller.
