i have been acting for a wile now and know that they do not state themselves as an agent. so percentages are not somthing that applies to this. for instance i spoke to a casting director in the industrey who i met through a course she said "i will not take any one on or look at them if they are not on at2 or show cast" which is basically the same thing as hollywoodauditions you have to still pay a fee. its ok to be worried i am to they sent me a message as well. but we will have to see ill take the risk and keep you updated.

One of your dreams should be a taking a course in the proper use of spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax within the English language.

If they ask you for money : Scam.
if they are going to pay for your expenses and work with you with no fees upfront: they are not scam.

I know you cannot convince somebody of anything if they have already made their mind up. I have been in entertainment for over ten years, but most importantly I have been living for twenty eight years and understand the way things are done and the proper common sense steps you have to take to get them done..

GETTING AN AGENT:

-ALL of you who are blogging and talking about things you obviously so clearly have no idea about want an agent from the very first time you realize you want to be an actor, model, singer, or dancer. And you believe that "you deserve a job in the entertainment industry because you are good looking or have some talent"

All of that is good, but millions of people are good looking and have a lot of talent, but if it is not marketed properly and placed in front of the right people, you will never get anywhere! Can you get a good job without experience? NO! Nobody in this business knows who you are! You have to get yourself out there, pay the small reasonable fee for a website like www.hollywoodauditions.com and use the program!!!!!! LISTEN! Get motivated take the steps and get out and do it! Look at it like you bought a gym membership. After you do that you go use the weights right? Your talent rep is their to help you (if you are helping yourself). Your talent rep is on your side and so is web support. utilize that.


-An agent or manager strictly works off of commission, which means he/she only gets paid if their clients do! How is an agent going to get paid for their time with a 10 year old boy named Johnny who only has a couple school plays on his resume? It is not the agent who decides who gets work, it's the studios and casting directors! If you were budgeting a multi-million dollar movie, would you let Johnny have the main role or any speaking role in the movie? I hope not! You wouldn't have a job for too much longer!

So, agents only sign clients with an extensive resume. Wouldn't you?  A talent rep signs you up for a service and takes no commission from you so if you are making $4,500.00 a day on a movie set that you acquired from our database, you keep one hundred percent of it! It would be illegal for us to take commission from our clients! We are not licensed agents and never claim to be agents or managers. Do your research!

Do something positive with things you learn in life, don't just create more bad of bad and for once in your lives take some responsibility for yourselves. Parents, that means you too! You photographers blogging too is rediculous, because we can generate 600 people in your backyard monthly that need headshots for their portfolios.  Just ask people who are beginners in the entertainment industry. Out of  200 emails of people who emailed us in your area, you can't get at least 20 people to invite into your studio to get their pictures done? Head shots are two to three hundred a pop. Do you have any idea how many people I talk to every day that DO NOT have professional pictures or how many emails I get that ask where can they get pictures taken? Abismo! So just like the inquiring entertainers take the chance and work the leads. We work in the same industry, we should work together!

Bob Fowler sounds like an agent s**t LOL look if you want an AGENT this isn't the place. they help you find your own auditions and give you the inside take on where to look. That's pretty much it.

Here's the bottom line...I used to work for them and yes, very shady things go on inside the walls of that establishment. In my time working there I realized that the whole company is a drug front. The President Mike Riley and supervisor Kurt Taylor are the ones in charge of it all (who are both always very loaded on the job). Countless times did i see strange characters walk into the office straight past the receptionist into mikes office get what they needed and as their walking out kurt says "he took care of you?" Anyways, why do you guys get mad at the employees or so called "talent reps"? When interviewed and hired we are all told, your going to make more money than any other job, your going to have an important position in the entertainment industry. Hello sign me up right? NO! your put in an office cubical with a p.o.s. phone number and given a script telling you exactly what to say. Once they have you set up at a desk Kurt says "stick to the script, it will get you the cards" (credit card numbers). as he goes back into his office and takes calls all day from people who want their money back. Look I needed to pay my bills I needed to provide for my family, all this stuff about company legitimacy started to unfold slowly (and then I quit). But what you people need to realize is that NOBODY, NOBODY, NOBODY who works there goes by their real name. Blast these people all you want online in these blogs but good luck finding them, its not their real name. and really all it is at the end of the day is blog chatter nothing is going to happen to them. See the reason they have been in bu business for ten or twelve years or whatever the hell is because of two things...1. all you guys do is blog about it on these scam and ripoff sites, DO SOMETHING MORE ABOUT IT AND SOMETHING MIGHT HAPPEN!! Got a call asking about my daughter stated that they got word that she was interested in modeling and acting asked if she had any experience and advised she did not and asked my city and state and zip ode and asked if she had anyone else beside me that cares for er stated my husband did also and stated they wanted to call us back and speak with both of us together cause they want to e thorough and it would save some time so will call us back tonight at 10:30 to speak with both of us together! Some guy named shawn prince just called me and asked to speak with my parents about me persuing my acting career. I want to make sure it's not a ripoff before I tell my parents about it.

I doubt it.  I searched at FashionModelDirectory.com and looked up Ali Stephens (supermodel) and turns out she's managed by Pulse Management and works for great companies like Elite and others.  I did as you mentioned and checked with the BBB and pulse has an A+ rating.  Please don't waste our time with your false information.

Ok. I recieved a call from Damion Lewis with Hollywood Auditions today at the number 818 227 6704. He was professional and it was quiet(ish). With the number he gave me to call back is 800 910 9168 EXT: 174. I called and immediately i got the man who called me. He and I have an audition with him in two weeks. I believe this is a liable company. Im skeptical yes but i'm not an idiot. i know when im being played.
