I was curious too because my friend got a similar call as well because he had purchased some extra tickets for a game a couple years ago.  He already is a season ticket holder and did some research.  Here is your proof that this is in fact a marketing plan by the Bombers....

I actually spoke to Kevin @ the office, he's a pretty nice guy.  I wound up not getting any tickets pre-paid because I couldn't afford the really good seats but I'm saving up for next season.  Go Bombers!

This is a real number and not a scam... they are not selling pick 10's for $100.00... I went down to the bombers office to confirm prices and information and they were able to verify everything for me. I will be buying season tickets thru one of the reps that had called me... it's just a better way to save money.

I don't know whether it's a scam, but there selling some "pick 10" for $100.00. 10 tix you can use throughout the season except @ the banjo bowl...  

It's prob a scam, they have american accents.

This is real. I bought Bombers seaon tickets from a rep at this number. I called the main number for the Bombers (the one on the website) to verify and they even transferred me to the rep direct;y. 1-800-913-9795 is a legit number for the Bombers.

Did anybody ever confirm this is a real number or call?

Someone called my house today leaving a message representing himself as "Andrew" from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Both numbers on the Bomber site are 204 numbers (Manitoba area code) and the CFL contact number is a 416 area code (local to Toronto, ON).

Definitely going to call the Bombers office tomorrow to confirm this information, and let them know what's going on if someone is scamming pretending to be them.

The person said his name was Kevin with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  He asked me to return the call and gave his extension # 4036.

The phone # was blocked on my called ID.  It just showed "long distance"
