A call-back to this number (call-display showed UNKNOWN + number) got me a recorded message saying that I had reached "The BC Lions Sports and Recreation Association". Of course they were looking for a donation. Their website is at http://www.bclions.com/

They called and asking for a donation, told them we cannot help and they hung up.

I received a call tonight but the call display showed the caller as 'unavailable'. We do not answer such calls. I called 1 800 379-2118 (as others have suggested) and registered for their 'do not call' list. Listen to the message to the end as the DNC option is the last one.

Just silence for ~10 seconds, then click.

I called the number and was able to register my number with their Do Not Prospect list.

Navigate through their auto answering service and one of the option will let you register your number.

It's actually BC Blind Sports & Recreation. Keep calling & not leaving messages. Annoying.

Same b***s***, nobody on the line. Called the number back and eventually was given another number to call.  Called 1-800-379-2118 and finally got to the do not call list. Hoping it works.

This is a computer generated call. It waits for someone to pu the line and IF they have a telemarketer available the computer would forward the line to him or her. If none available, the line would sound like dead air.

This is annoying especially when it wakes up your baby.

That just might work:  calling them back 10 times a day....
Very annoying.  I never answer anything connected to an 8 or 900 #.
Ticks me off that we are on the Do Not Call List and still get calls.  It doesn't matter how much you report them they just get new #'s and they start all over again.  I"ve been blocking their calls.  Helps for a few days, then.....................back at it.

this number is bc lions calling for donations. if you call the number back they say sorry we missed you but will will call you again. when they call there is no answer just dead line!

i am going to calll them10 ytimes a day and hang up. maybe then they will get the hint!

When I returned the call to 1-800-917-4196 the recording said it is for BC Blind Sports (which is soliciting donations) and to speak to the Service Rep call 1-800-379-2118.
