This number calls me 1-2 times a day and have been doing it every day for the last 2 months. The two times I did pick up no one replied for about 10 seconds and then a very heavily accented person started talking but I could hardly hear them over the background noise. When they couldn't even pronounce my name right (what's so hard about Cats? I mean, come on!) I hung up. If this is the army I have NO idea how they got a hold of my cell number. There is only a select number of people that have this number and I know NONE of them would be handing my information to army recruiters!

It is the damn Army.  I've filed complaints and told them to stop calling my number, but the blood sucking bastards are either too stupid to understand or just don't give a damn.

If you are getting calls from this # odds are there is someone about to turn 18 in your home.  They are the U.S. Army recruiters.  I have told them repeatedly that my daughter has severe back deformities and that she has no interest in the army, yet they still call!

have called everyday on caller ID at about the same hr in the morning and in the evening Im 50 yrs old why would they want to speak to me as people have said it's the ARMY - now thats a laugh isnt it?

I always get a call from that number. Sometime I don't answer and let my answering machine get it (no message ever left anyway), but I do answer, there's no response. It's already pissing me off. I wonder of there's a way to block that number from calling my house?

If you call this number back it is an inbound call center for army recruiting... you can ask for your number to be removed and they tell you it takes 5-7 business days I will update after that time as to whether or not calls have stopped.. one of the "Supervisors" there was Scott Crawford so everyone should ask for/harass him about getting your number removed.

Called asking for the name I give out if I dont want to recieve junk from someone, I said they werent there but I could take a message.  She left a message but it was very monotone and she sounded like a telemarketer asking that I call at my earliest convience.  Very strange

Called back on it and got the Army Recruiting message. Funny, you think they'd know I just got recalled to active duty and am at Fort Benning right now.

I just got off the phone with the retard recruiter. he says it takes 30 day to remove me from his list. Some kid used gave phone number to the recruiter at his H.S. So now I have to deal with this bu***hit for thenext 30 days. 1 call a day @ 10:30am and onecall around midnight. I'm pretty irate right now.

just got another phone call from these morons so I called them again to see wtf their problem is. I first spoke with a Rishanba Beasley after telling her about my situation I asked for a C.O. or a supervisor and I got an individual named Scott Crawford and he told me the same line of crap that I've been hearing from their other operators. But what I did find out is that the company making these calls is called DIAL AMERICA and that they are not subject to the national do not call list because they aren't trying to sell anything. What a bunch of a**holes!

Just spoke with an individual at their corporate office named Rob Jannicelli.
He's thier quility controll manager and he's been the most straightforward and helpfull individual I've spoken with so far. He told me that he can take me off their list immediately. So if anyone else is having a problem like I have call him directly at 1-800-531-3131 Ext. 2862

He also said that they were subcontracted by another company called TREND INTEGRATION

I'm going to do some investigation on them also.

This number is the US Army - they call my son at least twice a day, even though he says he is not interested.  Now we don't answer and we get a message saying that he must call them back to get removed from their list!  I'm sure he'll just get more of their sales pitch if he calls.  His friend just joined the Army and he says that the recruiters pressure them to hand over their friend's phone numbers.  He swears he did not give ours, but thinks they went through his cell phone contacts when he left his phone unattended.  Also - and I was not able to do this for my older two sons - but now that my third is in high school, I was given the option to restrict the school from giving our number to the military - sort of a privacy choice.  Hopefully this will protect him from the same harrassment my older two have endured.

Just got a call from them this morning, they didn't leave a message.  I came here first to know what to expect, then called them directly.  Had to enter my phone number and the # sign before I could proceed to an agent.  Then the agent asked me for my full name and zip code, which I did not provide but immediately asked why they were calling me in the first place.  The agent said that they had information that I had expressed interest in joining the U.S. military, which I do not and never have indicated such an interest.  I told her I have never expressed interest in the military and that I am on the government do-not-call list.  I said that I would like her to take my number off their list, and if they do not, I will be taking this up with the FCC.  She put the information in her computer and said that it will take effect between 5 to 7 business days, and that I should ignore any calls I get during that time until it takes effect.

This is the second 866 call I've received in the last two days.  The other was 1 866-493-5563.  If you're interested, look up that number on this site and find my comments there.

Caller said he was with an U.S. Army recruiting officer and was calling  to recruit Rudy into the army... to please call back to the number given which is the same number in question.  This call comes everyday at the same time between 10 and 10:30 am.  We are not at home at this hour so they just leave a message...
