Had my last name Phoenetically Spelled.  Not even Close.

Tried to get my credit card info.  Fishing for names and accounts.
Tried to get all my credit accounts, balances, payments.

Offerred to lower my interest to 6%

She got snippy when I asked to talk to supervisor.
Asked her to spell her name 3 times.  Never complied.

This number calls me like 4 or 5 times a day, i wish they would stop.............

Calls every day - when I call back I am ask to press 1 and it's to remove my number off the do not call list. You can use your block number in your set up of your phone. Check it out or call your mobile company and request that they block their number.

do not awnser it. it is a auto dialer made to see what numbers are being used so spam advertizers know what numbers to spam with advertizements

Calls me every day on behalf of The Royal Bank of Canada.

The call me almost everyday, sometimes 3-4 times a day. How can I make it stop ? Is there anywhere we can report this officially or lodge a complaint ?

Have had 5-7 calls/day for the past 4 weeks.  Finally got fed up today because they were coming every 10 minutes and called the number back.  It was recording from Sykes Enterprises.  I followed the recording instructions for putting my number on their do not call list.  They called again in less than 5 minutes!  This time I answered.  It's Sykes calling on behalf of the Royal Bank trying to sell protection of some sort on your Visa.  The woman I spoke with was rude and didn't give a rat's @## what I was telling her about the do not call list.  I told her not to call my unlisted number again, and that I would complain to the Royal Bank.  She just kept talking like I never said a word!!!

Bottom line....I called my local RBC Branch. Explained the situation to the service rep who was excellent in handling this.  She alone is the reason I'm not cancelling my Visa with the Royal Bank.  She was able to access the system and take my number off their list by making my primary contact number with the Royal Bank (the one Sykyes calls) a secondary contact.  Calls have stopped.

Of all my credit cards, the Royal Bank is the only company who uses 3rd party telemarketers who call and try to sell some sort of add on protection for the card.   It baffles me that a company would allow their customes to be harassed like this but they obviously don't need our business.

Call your local bank and have your primary contact number for them removed and change it to a secondary number.  You will immediately be off the telemarketer's list.

Get called at home from this number 5 or 6 times each day.  Crazy!

Then asking for my email and date of birth , I said the RBC already has all this info so she became very adamant and that would have been enough to open an account at some other FI.

So I hung up and I will call RBC to check this out .

Get this phone number 3 - 5 times a day.............slows down for awhile then it starts up again.........constantly

Keep calling every week - when I answer there is nobody at the other end.
When I call I get an offer to remove my number from their call list if I select an option which I am reluctant to do.

They called twice a day every single day, for at least the last six weeks. I've long ago stopped answering it, but if I answer the phone, it rings through to some recording saying "Congratulations, you've just won... " blah blah blah. I hang up. The scam is annoying enough but to have them continuously call back over and over takes the cake. At this point, if there actually were a human being on the other end, I'd just scream at them.

Since yesterday evening, I have received 23 calls from this number - 24 (they just called again). Some time ago, they were calling too often, so I blocked their calls on my phone. Maybe they will realize they are not welcome... Sometimes, the caller is not identified; sometimes the caller ID says SYKES. Very annoying, but at least, the phone only rings once.

Someone calling me each day on my cell, I pick up and they hang up. I have called the number back and requested through there automated system to be put on there do not call list.
I am already registered on the national "Do not call list" for my cell and my home phone, this obviously means nothing!!!!

Hi, I just got a call from this number as well, they asked for me by name, then hung up.  Very creepy and very strange.  I do not think it has anything to do with RBC.  They are professionals, and would not do this!!!!  I called it back, and a message said it was "Sykes Enterprises", then gives you the option to put your phone number in to  be put on the "do not call list" but then they ask you to spell your first and last name.  I DID NOT, I hung up.  This is my home phone, and it is a private listing.  NO clue how they got my private #.  Very very very odd!

I get calls from this number on behalf of RBC at least 5 times a day and even into the late evening. I called the number and it is a outsourced call center with different clients. I added my number to their 'do not call list' and we shall see if they call again. If they do, The Royal Bank will be getting a call from me.

this number calls like every couple hours on my celll but when ppl call my phone it plays a song instead of a ring tone so they let the song play for like a second and hang up so i have like 10 missed calls a day!!!!! how do we get rid of them?

this number has been calling my cellphone everyday 4x a day for weeks now. i never answer unknown calls. but it never stops. whatever happened to the days where it was nice to have a cellphone because only people you give your number to call. bullcrap. this is borderline harrassment. i am usually very civil to telemarketers but enough is enough. i called back to be removed off their call list and they still keep calling. effing a***ipes. when they call next, they are going to hear it from me.

They've been calling me for about two weeks now, from once at noon to three or four times during the day. Never answered the phone and they never left a message. I looked on the internet for information about this number the first time they called me. As soon as I noticed that it was likely to be a scam, I decided not to answer. However, it's quite annoying to even hear the phone ringing like this several times a day. So I decided to block the number.

I received a call from this number. They call me many times a weeks from homephone and to my cell phone. I talked to alady before that I'm not interested to her offer of card protector but still keeps on calling.

1-800-920-0429...Calling 3 to 5 times per day, all hours of day.  Tired of this crap.  On the DO NOT CALL LIST...really wish Bell Canada had not sold the DO NOT CALL LIST to telemarketers so that they can call everyone.  Getting very tired of all the telemarketers that call my house.

They don't leave a message so I guess it is not important or they are just trying to sell something... Since I noticed that you say here it is from RBC, I will ask them to stop calling me like that!
