For some time, a regular recorded message from this number has said that "time sensitive" documents have recently been mailed, that the call isn't a "promotion," but that it sets out the caller's "position." The message is for someone other than me anyway, but asks the person to call, and gives this number. I don't want to call, because I wonder if the caller is a person I can safely speak to. I wish the caller wouldn't abuse the phone in this way (or make it possible for others to do so).

Try 6 months of this-every day at least,and up to once every 20 minutes at EasterDay. Weve never had a credit card, no debt, no unpaid bills. No real person ever calls back-even after I said I was going to hunt them down and kill them. Still at least daily. Good Luck. Rusty

They didn't call me but this is the number that is showing up on my bank account for $9.75. Tried calling the number and all I got is a voicemail. Not cool...not cool at all.

Now they are debiting people's bank account for $9.75. Whatever it is and whoever it belongs to is a major scam. On my bank statement it says "World Trade" in CA. Obviously they got my credit card number somehow, I don't know how. I cancelled that card immediately. This is more than debt collection.

I got a call from this number also (1), and I found out that this # is from Dublin, OHIO. That is all I know.

This is an automated call that confirms appointments for Doctors, etc. Clien tell is the company name.

They have called here three times a day for the last month. I finally picked up last week and told them to stop calling- and that the person that they were looking for did not live here- nor has he ever. He refused to listen to me and he demanded that I give him my name. He told me he would trace the call. So I hung up. The same thing happened tonight so I told him I would call the police. I did and the police called the company. The police told us the only thing to do would be to change MY phone number! All because SOMEONE ELSE gave them our phone number.

Received a pre-recorded message on my work phone asking stating that they need to speak to me and to call them back. Instead I "googled" them. Will report to my management.

Calls several times a day for the past week or so..the same reports as everyone else, though we've never actually spoken to a human. Very annoying. FYI we have been registered on the national "do NOT call" list and this seems to be the only thing that has been bothering us.

Someone called from number and left a message that I should "contact them about a claim I made". Of course, I have no clue what claim they are talking about.

This number frequently appears on my caller ID and I don't have a clue who it is; therefore, I don't answer the phone. The caller doesn't leave a message. I would like to find out who is calling and why.

I am always getting calls from this number. I had a caller ID isntalled that lets me know the number that is calling and then l put that number into the caller ID memory bank so when they call again my caller ID will say the number and then it will say Spam call do not answer. This way one one wastes their time answering the call.

I "googled" the number & it's for Allied Interstate (a collection agency ..?)..? They call @ least five times a day. Since I don't recognize the number, I never answer & they never leave a message. I read several posts that say it's Capitol One. I don't have a Capitol One account.

If you call the number back it is for discover card, don't know why they are calling me I don't even have one

this number called at 10 in the morning and i work mornings. i answered because he called like 4 times the previous week. He yelled in my ear wake up "buddy". i snapped..the told him the person hes lookin for is in iraq. they still call though so i give up i guess

They call all the time. All hours and most of the time there is no one on the line or they will say please hold.. I am sick of them calling so much. They are Capital One. My husband has a card with them with a low limit and he's not behind. I told him with what the interest is and all this stupid calling we should pay it off and tell them when we cancel it they are the worst SOB's we have ever known. Have the time he doesn't even use it and we are not paying it down. They are a big monkey on our backs.

I got a charge from these guys for 9.75 as well. Called my bank and they were unable to see it as anything but a fraudulent transaction. They credited my account, cancelled my compromised card that the transaction was done on and issued me a new card on the spot. Thant's why I love my bank. But it still doesn't resolve the problem of these bozos stealing money from people.

I got charged $9.75 on my debit card from World Trade, Costa Mesa CA as well.  I disputed the charges, and my bank credited the funds but these jerks are still at it. Stealing from people who obviously don't have $9 to steal!

WOW. holy crap. i too were charge 9.75 on my cc. i let my bank know and they are looking into it. i hope.

these people, whoever they are, just take money from checking accounts, so then you have to jump through hoops with your bank to get the money back. This is WRONG! Especially in this slow economy. People like me living paycheck to paycheck just barely need every penny they have, do not steal from us! You shuold feel terrible, and you should know that you will burn in hell for this. Stop stealing money!

They charged my account too, my bank is investigating.

Was on my bank statement for $9 and some change. I have NO clue who this is or how they got into my bank account. I am trying to work with my bank now to get the funds returned. Who are these people & why are they taking money from people who do not have it????

Charged $9.65 on a debit card account I haven't used in a year. World Trade out of CA. 1-800-931-8580. Closed card and reported it to my bank as fraudulent. Apparently that does no good considering how many offenses have occured and these creeps are still at it.

Noticed a charge on my credit card for $9.75 from this "World Trade 8009318580 CA".  Called the phone number and got a robot answering machine that gave no information.  Called my bank, and all they could tell me was it was a "computer networking" company.  I am currently disputing the charges.

My CC got charged by World Trade with the above listed phone number in the transaction details. The credit card details says some some Information technology services purchase, which never happened. need to check these do***e bags.
