someone called, asked for my name, when I said "speaking", they said "good" then hung up.  who are these people?

Received a call from this number stating it was for the Children's Cancer Center. I just recently lost my job and told the man calling that I wasn't going to contribute and I told him to take my number off his list. His reply was "That's chicken sh*t - you've paid us before" and then he hung up.

We live in San Diego County, too, and this caller is driving us crazy. No call back to them is ever answered.  We've let the number ring 30 times to no avail. Correct, they either leave no message or 1 to 2 beginning lines from "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" -- yes, sounds like Sinatra singing some of the opening lines about "...Rome...It's Another Day...I feel terribly alone...". Grrrrr. This is harrassment going on for several weeks or a few months.

We have received this Frank Sinatra song "I am terribly alone" three times in the last few weeks.  We just received another one.  The previous calls come in as a Private Caller,  the most recent one came in as 1-800-941-6211.  I have ordered a report on this number and have contacted both the phone company and police.  Do you have any other information, it is a bit creepy.  We live in the San Diego are you also in this area?

Same for me - I have had the song on my voicemail 10 times in the past month.  I hope someone is paying for these calls since I will not answer.

Calls repeatedly asking for someone we dont know.  They always say they will remove us from their list but they do not.  I assume this is a collection agency.  Does anyone know who it is?
