I called them after hearing their commercial on local radio in Colorado.  The phone was answered on their end by "Guaranteed Consumer Funding".

They offered HP or Dell PC's for the aforementioned $29~/month.  I got an operator right away, and was told they dropped the HP line because they were "buggy"...they now have Dell desktops only.  I was interested in a notebook, so I hung up.

They were very professional, but it does seem to follow with "if it sounds too good to be true" saying.

we've reported them to the California State Attorney General's office - they're still advertising here, but I suspect it won't be for much longer

yeah, they are a bunch of scheeming a-holes. the computers they are selling aren't dell or hp, and you can buy a desktop w/ monitor that is 5 times as powerful with a 160 g hardrive at best buy for just about 500 dollars.  they tell you that you dont get your pc shipped until after 5 payments.  thats about 150 dollars. if you can afford to spend 30 each week (120 bucks a month, and you dont get your pc even sent for 1 1/2 months, tag on an extra week or two for shipping, you can wait an extra month, save that money and get a real computer.  the comupters they sell arent even dual core and not even a dvd burner.  for $1300 that you end up spending, you should at least get those things.  what a f****ng rip off and anyone who is stupid enough to go through a company like this deserves to get there money stolen by an unreliable rip-off.  so, dont be dumb, save your money, and buy a new pc from a trusted actual store that you can use that night. GCF are a bunch of bungholes.  i will see them in hell. lol

My Husband heard the commercial on the radio today while he was at work advertising the computer and the free Wii.(Luckily I taught him well enough to ask questions and get everything in writing.)He called the company to inquire about the computer and the Wii. The salesman told him that they supposedly had a certain number of Wiis in stock when you place your order you are given a number which will match up to the inventory number of the Wii game system and when the inventory of the Wiis became depleted the company was obligated to let the customer know. When I got home from work and decided to check into this company (I'm suspicious by nature) I found several reports on ripoffreports.com and another complaint board where this company scams people daily. Customers never receive their computer or free gifts and yet the company is still pulling money out of their account.  I'm glad we didn't sign up with this company and from what I read I would advise everyone  else to do the same.

Yep, the ad I heard offered a free wii... that's an expensive "free extra." They are definitely making a lot of money on each deal, but if you really need a "brand new computer," who knows?

Virgina!? Sounds like the perfect place for a scam like that. No usury laws to protect consumers at all. Charge whatever interest and fees you'd like.

My sister just bought a computer from them and it sounds very, very shady to me!  She's going to pay $1800.00 for some crappy computer that only has a 3.6 processor.  The website they gave isn't even a real website and noone answers the 800 number.

Plus..the stressed to her that there were absolutely no returns.

They say they are located in Virginia and their business name is tec solutions...hmmm...no info anywhere.

Anyone else have any luck finding out who these people are?

No, But I heard a commercial for it and its advertizing a Dell or HP computer for $29.99 per week for one year with no credit check as long as you have a checking account. They even said they will throw in a free GPS and MP3 Player with some models. Sounds kinda Shady.
