This company is fulfilling orders for Playboy magazine.

I think they're liars.  PLAYBOY doesn't call people to subscribe to their magazine.  I've contacted their customer service and they've told me this.  I think it's someone trying to SCAM people!

There is at least 1 other number that uses the same scam. And this is a scam!

I subscribed to Playboy for over 45 years.

I called Playboy's subscription service and they said that they never use out-going type telemarketers. Simple reason: They don't need to! Their subscription list is very stable and new subscribers find them very easily.

Therefore:

The FTC will not take any action without a "significant" number of complaints. They will not say what makes a "significant" number of complaints. I suggest you do the following:

(1) file a complaint at
               https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

(2) email or snailmail your congress-persons (Representatives and Senators) about the FTC's failure to enforce the Do-Not-Call list. Mention Donald S. Clark, Secretary of the Commission. This is the guy whose name appears on correspondence claiming they don't have enough complaints. (If you have a Republican, forget this step, they are not interested in our problems or interested in accomplishing anything useful).

(3) call the FTC, Donald S. Clark, Secretary of the Commission at 1-202-326-2514.

I recently ordered Playboy through the Publishers Clearing House and this phone # has been calling for me everyday but hangs up when told i'm not available. Since I never had to give my # to subscribe I sure would like to know how they got it!

Called and asked for me by name. Said it was about playboy subscription. Then they hung up. I tried to call back, it rang once then a busy signal. I got through once and they said they were an adult on-line site. Then they hung up. Can't get back through.

a young woman by the name of Jen asked for my husband ed...she said it was regarding a pkg that was delivered...when i called the number back, it rang once then nothing...silent.

Just got the call, asked for me, then nothing. I do get Playboy, and get lots of different calls about my subscription. So I am going to cancel it.

Finally answered after letting it ring for several days in a row. A woman asked to speak to my husband. I asked who she was and what she wanted. She said she was calling to verify he received his Playboy dvds.

yep.  called asking for me by name.  I said who's this and she said rudely, "Jennifer.  I'm calling about a package that was sent, is _____ there?"  I said no, and she hung up.  I, too have a Playboy subscription.  I gues Heff is selling our contact info to dirtbags.

Just had 2 calls for "Jason", and then they hung up. I called the number back, one ring and no one answers. What gives?

In five days I have had six calls from this umber, all wanting to know if my husband got his copy of Playboy.  I've told them every single time to take us off their call list.

Has been calling up to ten times a day, never leaves message, and when we answer, no one speaks.  They call all times of day and even after 8 when I have children trying to sleep.  I am really getting tired of this.

Stop calling my house or I will have my attorneys contact you and file against you.
I am on a on call list and you call and hanging up after 8 and 9 pm when I have children sleeping.

A guy from this number called about a subscription to Playboy.  He was  rude and hung up on me.

FEMALE CALLED ASKING FOR SOMEONE BY NAME, WOULDN'T SAY WHO SHE WAS WITH.  THEN SAID IT WAS ABOUT A PACKAGE FOR THAT PERSON.  STILL REFUSED TO SAY WHO SHE WAS WITH, THEN HANGED UP ON ME.
