Got the same BS message to call Brandy at extension 2289. They're highway bandits attempting to skirt the law.

I received a call from "Brandy" from the law office of Richard Clark from this number. She simply stated she needed a call back at that 800 number, her direct extension being 2289.
I have not, nor will I return the call. Anyone wishing to speak to me can properly identify themselves and the nature of their call.

Tell them you are going to sue them under FDCPA law. Demand there address so you know where to serve your legal suit. I got the same jerk calling me on a debt over 10 years old! The statute of limitations is 4 years in my state! They called my brothers house, which is a big no-no. They won't give me the info so I can sue their butts for calling nor will they give me permission to record. LOOOOSSEEERRRSSS!

I received another call from my landlord from this phone# and I am getting fed up with this. I do not owe any money to anyone. When I call it states that if I stay on the line I accept the debt as being owed. What on earth?

They are a "debit" collector, posing as a law firm. They call and are persistent about it. they push the legal limits of debit collecting and sometimes cross those lines, but they will never furnish you any proof of debit. Which they have too if requested. They say that you owe this amount and it needs to be paid. But they also want to verify your information 1st. Never give them any information, ask them to furnish you the information they already have and were they got it from, plus they will want your bank account numbers to withdraw payment to settle the debit!!!!!!! yea right. They talk nice until pushed about who and where the debit originated, then they will get nasty and hateful. The "Office Manager" she is a true Witch if she gets on the phone. Demands this and demands that but until they furnish you proof that you owe the debit in writing they don't have a leg to stand on.

Same here they call once or twice a week, they say I owe a debit. I spoken with them several times and have requested they send me Proof of debit which our state laws say they have too. But I have never received one as of yet. They say they don't have to furnish me with that. Wrong.

Automated message looking for someone with same last name but different first name. Claims to be a law office.
Caller id says "800 service"
I get the calls at least a couple times a month and they keep trying different first names.

It's an attorney's office. Someone left a message and didn't say "why" they want a call back.
