Really getting annoyed. Until six months ago, yes, I owned a Honda Pilot which apparently has a couple of recalls on it. But I don't own my Pilot anymore. I traded it in for a Hyundai! I even called my old dealership to talk to the service department about it and they were very nice and removed my name from their system. That was FOUR months ago. Their system should have updated by now, and I should NOT still be receiving notices or calls from Honda! Honda Corporate needs to get their act together!

Legit call from Honda about my 2003 Odyssey.

American Honda Motor Company calling to remind us of a recall on our Honda Odyssey. Follow up call to a letter in the mail.

It is legit. The recall is for 2003-4 Honda Odyssey's. Got the call on 3-6 and got the mail notice on 3-8. Something about the key being able to be removed from the ignition when the vehicle is not in park, causing the vehicle to roll.

Rec'd automated call March 5, 2013...Caller ID only displayed "toll-free call"...message left on answering machine claimed to be Honda, calling about 'recall' notice for 2002 models and also stated a written notice should have been received ... BUT later in message said I would be receiving a written notice within 5 days. Could call # back for more details.   Although a Honda is owned, the year and model of the "recall" does NOT match what's owned.  Not intending to call back ... call seems suspicious / unknown intent.

This phone number belongs to Honda America, Torrence, CA, corporate headquarters.  I received an automated phone call about a recall on a Honda Odyssey.  I've never have owned a Honda.  When I called them back, they claimed my telephone number was not in their data base, that a "third party" makes the recall calls for them.  The woman I spoke to claimed not to know who this third party was and said the third party gets their information from the department of motor vehicles.  Pretty sad when a company's corporate headquarters doesn't know who they have doing their phone recall notices.
