Called twice yesterday

Please stop calling.

The number 801-290-1732 just called. Hung up. I called back and they called me by whatever name happened to show up on their caller ID. It wasn't even remotely close to my name. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was summarily hung up on. I called back, the second woman to answer was polite. I immediately asked for a supervisor. She pulled the phone away and I could her her talking to someone outloud announcing that I was requesting a supervisor.
    The Supervisor 'Kelly' got on the phone. I requested the company details. She refused. I requested to be put on the DNC ( as I have received more than 10 calls in the last 2 weeks). I advised her that unsolicited calls are illegal, and any legitimate Educational Company would have no issue with providing their details. I advised her that my numerous attempts and requests to be put on the DNC had met with failure and that I needed an address to send a Cease and Desist letter. She refused again, I asked for her supervisor,  and of course, he had gone for the day. I advised her that I have a record of every attempt to get this resolved and that FCC Fines start at $1000 for her and for the company separately,  and again asked for the address to send a C&D. She refused again. Finally, I asked her to read back my number to ensure she had it correctly and that it needed to be included. in their DNC scrub immediately or my attorney would be contacting them next. She seemed shaken and a that my number would be removed immediately.  
* I have worked for many years in Telemarketing and Collections. They know what they are doing is wrong, that's why they normally hang up right when you ask for an authority figure. I cannot believe that they are an Educational company of any kind as they are required to provide details, if not credentials when asked for.  Good luck to anyone else who receives a phone call from this number.

Hey idiot, after you register on "do not call", it takes months for it to fully go through. It even tells you that when you register, but obviously you don't read the instructions. Moron.

got a call from some wierdo saying i owe an outstanding pay day loan! never had one in my life!

this  number has called 11 times in the last 2 weeks, 4times today.........  does not leave message I did answer once and they hung up. how so I stop them? I too am on no call list. this is cell  and do not want to waste time on junk.

I got that same message about being charged with a crime, I sign a private school loan for my son.    He's been paying the notes, but when he's late the calls start early.

I subscribed to "Do Not Call" a several weeks ago and still get multiple calls from unwanted phone calls.  This phone #801-290-1732 was on my phone today.  What can I do to get these people and businesses to stop calling for good?

This is a bill collector. She says she is from an attorney's office and that they have felony cases against the person they are asking for. I reminded her that there is no debtor's jail, and people cannot be charged with a crime simply because they owe money to someone. It is just a scare tactic.

Got a call from this number several times. They don't leave a message.

Called and when I answered they hung up after about 2 mins

Same thing. Called me several times. I answer and get a dial tone.

Called me 5 more times since yesterday .. ne message. I put a block on the number

Continuously calls and leaves no message.

I returned the call from a VOIP phone.  Someone answered "thanks for calling us back"  It's some sort of educational something.  I asked to be placed on "do not call".  Gal very nicely took the number and said "no problem"  Apparently they are using the kids trick of leaving no message and expecting YOU to call them back.

Called.  It's our new "burner" phone.  No message.  Did not answer.
