For those of you in the US receiving these call, please report them to the FCC, here http://www.fcc.gov/complaints  I just received a call from them about winning a cruise.  I called back, got a person, and asked, "what company is this?" and they hung up on me.

They called my home phone the other night stating we won tickets...my husband hung up! They just called my cell number. How can that be? Its just a scam or wahtever....

oops,  this was the call I didn't pick up.  the other was from a 215 area code (local)

some one calling to "verify you info from the survey you recently filled out".   Supposedly for a WalMart Gift card. and about wanting a job.  rude - i finally had to hang up, and he was STILL talking

Got this call on cell and actually hit the end button when I picked phone up Don't know the number and I don't answer unknow numbers either. No messege was left.

Just got the prepaid Tmobile cell yesterday. And late this afternoon, got a call from this number 1-801-410-1096. Nobody responds.

1-801-410-1096  I answered this call and heard noise but no one would answer when I said hello.

Phone rang but no one was there.  No message on my voicemail either.  I did not call back.

Got a call ..no message...

Recorded voice telling me I won a trip

The person who I talked to after pressing #1 tried to get my bank account information out of me to pay "the taxes" on the travel prize I had won. Watch out! Someone should report these people-who talked in Spanish by the way- to the FBI.

Received a phone call from this number Oct. 22nd, 2009 at 12:11 P.M. EST.  I did not bother to pick up since I did not know the number, but I'm certain it's only a matter of time before they call again.

I just got this call and immediatly googled the number and went to this board. I didn't answer, but was thinking about calling back. 801 is a utah area code. That's what google said at least.....I just called back and it was a recording saying, "this is a travel related call and we will contact you again shortly. To be deleted from this list press 1". I pressed 1 and it continues to ask for your phone number......more then likely a scam to get your number into many other similar data bases for automated sales crap.

Received a call from 801-410-1096 at 12:57 in Georgia. I answered, heard Spanish, then promptly hung up.

Just got the call as well...It was in Spanish.

Static at the beginning, then all spanish words.  I only recognized the last one 'dinero' which means money.  I freaked cuz i thought...well i dunno what i thought but the word 'money' made me nervous and i hoped i wasnt losing a hell of a lot of it.

I just got a call from 1-810-410-1097. Pressed answer before reading number then hung up.  Got online to see if there would be any damage.

Glad to read that it is just a number soliciting or leading to a scam, rather than one of those that charges you an extortionate amount of money by simply taking the call.
