It is someone trying to sell medic alert program.  They start off asking for confirmation of your shipping address - as if you're already interested or you have already ordered it.

I've gotten calls from this number 801 410 7248 almost every day for the past week.  No message left on my phone.  If I call back, the number is not in service.

Called my workplace, asked to speak with my manager (called him by name). I said he wasn't available. She asked if she could verify with me, info about our company so she can send it to a free magazine for our area.  I declined and hung up.

Caller Id says Salt Lake City UT and the lady claim to be calling from a Credit Card Center but she could not identify which Credit Card.  She did have the balance of one of my cards, and wanted a payment.  I have made a recent payment on that card.

The company is Premier Bank Card

In one hour got at least 5 calls from this number, everytime i answered i heard the sound of a fax machine. Ide hang up , then 4 seconds later , i would get a call from a private number, i answered and it was just silent. then got a call from an unavailable number. Same thing, it was silent. Phone rings again from the 801-410-7248 number, answered and got a fax sounding machine, It was weird . This merry go round went on for about an hour. Everytime i would call that 801 number back , it said it wasnt in service. ( scratching my head??)

I called back, and got a message stating my call can not be completed at this time.

Not sure who it is.

Indian accented gentleman called saying his name was John & asking for an employee by name.  He said that the employee ordered the Yellow Book & he was looking for payment on an invoice.  I told him that the employee in question doesn't have anything to do with advertising that we would need a copy of his written authorization in order to pay it.  He insisted that he could only speak to that employee about it.  The second time he called I told him that I was the employee he was requesting.  He asked how I would like to pay for the invoice: Check or credit card.  I asked him for a copy of the written authorization in order to pay for the invoice.  He said that it was a verbal authorization that was recorded.  I asked him to listen to the verbal recording.  He said that he already played it for me back in December.  I told him that we do not accept verbal authorizations because they are not worth the paper that they are not written on.  I then asked to speak to a supervisor.  He said that he was a supervisor.  I asked to speak to his supervisor.  He told me that his only supervisor is Jesus. LOL.  I told him not to call back.  My favorite part is that the person who he is asking for is a man & I am a woman. LOL.  I guess I'll have to come up with something better the next time he calls.

Someone called our place of business and asked to speak to the "senior person in charge of our call center." When transferred to the call center supervisor, he was asked if he was conducting a survey, and he said he wasn't. He started to ask questions like "How many CSRs are in your call center." We replied with "Thats proprietary information." He then asked if there was anyone else who could speak with who could tell him. We said told him no and asked what information he was looking for. He said he wanted information about our call center. We again told him that we could not give that information out. He ended the call.

Call shows up as UTAH

This number keeps calling- early in the morning. This morning a lady with an American accent asked for me by my first name only-like we are friends.  This same number was harassing my grandmother about a month ago. Calling 7 times a day, every day. They were telling her she had won 1,000,000 and they needed to deliver the money in person. They wanted her address.  Indian accents.  We reported the number to Verizon- anything over 4 calls a day is considered harassment.  They report the number. In this case they said it was a scam and that the Government was aware of it and looking into it.  The people calling are actually located in Jamaica.

Beginning to think the way to handle these is to answer and give em dead air

I too receive unwanted calls from this number. I have contacted the do not call registry/complaint site and complained, and we shall see if they do anything to stop unwanted calls. If Cox were doing their jobs they would stop this crap from disturbing disabled people

Of I redieve another call from this line saying my nephew was injured in an accident in Utah it wiill be you who owe me money.

Calls 2-3 times a day, no one answers, disconnected number when I call it back.  Considering federal legal action.

This number and several other weird numbers keep calling my house.I googled this number and the other numbers and it seems as if they are all a scam.I do not have voice mail or an answering machine so,I just let it keep ranging until my phone company says I'm unavailable and hangs up on them.

I keep getting calls from these guys.  Sometimes they block their number.  They seem to be phishing.

Keep asking for a javi seems like a scam

I work at a school, and get calls from this number several times a day, every single day. When I answer there is nobody on the other end, then it disconnects.

Called my wife answered and the caller aksed for me. Said he was performing a survey for School Development and Research. Called number back from my caller ID and phone systems answeres and says number is not valid please check the number and dial again. Ran number through my companies phone number security search and it cam back as phising scam number.

When the phone rings it is an indication that someone wants to talk to you.  NOT an obligation to answer the damn thing.
I have number ID on the phone. This number has called many times. I check once a month, if I see a number of someone I know, I might call back.

Has phoned several times this evening....looking forward to whoever might be on the other end finally making contact...greetings, thanks for calling and hanging up... enjoy your new a**hole....f*r!!!

Get a load of this.  Not only do they interrupt me repeatedly at work asking for names of people NOT here or ever been here, but have the odasity to call back and ask for my supervisor because I have no "customer service", (after they call repeatedly from the same number asking for ficticious names) what is that about?  Speak of customer service!  These calls suck and i wish people would get real jobs instead of wasting their time working in such call rooms anoying people all day and calling that "customer service" I would expect!

I missed the call by 30 min & no message. "Utah" shows up in CallerID. I called back and recording with unusual female voice says the number is not in service. The voice is different from the usual slightly robotic US recorded operator voice.

All of a sudden these calls started.  Last week on a similar number called (also from Utah) trying to sell me something to fix my computer virus.  It's just a pain, why do these people pester you?

I don't know why I got several calls from 801-410-7248. When I pick up the phone, no one answers me. I don't want to receive any calls from them. Thanks
