It seems like it's a phishing scam. I received numerous calls from this number and another blocked number and they say that "they see you applied for a grant from the government". After I say "no I did not" they hangup.

I posted my issues with them on Facebook for the world to see.

I got a call from this number right after I hung up with AT&T. I answered it right away and no one was there, and no voice mail was left. My guess is that this number knew that I was inquiring about internet service from a competitor.

I have to disagree, they are not clear on any information, tell you they will send you a gift card, and then its a certificate for a gift card that I have to send money back for! Sign you up for things you don't want!
don't try to feed a line a b***s*** they will credit anything, they pass the buck and tell you they have to charge that!!!!
would not recommend them to anyone!!!
Thank you very much!!!!!

No message left on my cell phone. When I called back I got ?thank you for calling Clear Link? and the usual menu of ?for questions about ... blah ... punch 1, etc.? I have no connection with this outfit so it must have been a telemarketer.

Company is a scam. Don't give them your card number you will have many charges on your account. I spoke with the representative for 2 hours. I check my account and see over $300 in charges. Please stay away from this company...

I do not wish to receive solicitations from this phone number. I canceled service with DISH for a good reason and do not wish to be lobbied to come back.

Dish Network customer service. They are likely calling because someone who knows you is trying to get a referral credit by signing up for their service and your name was mentioned. Answer it and they will stop trying to call you.

Actually, we have 16 brand partners, thank you very much.
When you walk into walmart, is there only one brand?
Or a music store... only one band?
No. We service a variety of brands, and are nationally recognized (by Forbes and Inc. Magazine) for our unique approach to business and being fastest growing in the nation.
We go by so many names because our company has been held at gunpoint because a man was unhappy with how his services were functioning. We are a very small company, quickly growing, in a small metropolis (in the US), and much more accessible than the corporations we represent. Once that occurred we had to start going by different names for different occasions to avoid any future onslaught for selling services that someone might not be satisfied with. A sort of "don't shoot the messenger" plea.
If there were truly unauthorized charges, all you had to to was call the number you first called to set up services and it would've been taken care of. I would know. Clearlinker for a long time here.
No need to slander something/someone you don't understand.

When you call a call center, you realize that your phone number is placed in their system and is visible on their display for their protection, right?
That's how they knew how to get back with you if you called in and hung up after getting to an agent. If you worked in sales and had to keep a certain number of sales per day going, would you not call back a prospect?
David 2012-06-24 20:52:31 Unknown
The best way to get a salesperson with whom you've spoke and requested to possibly speak with later, or have hung up on, to stop, is to simply answer it and ask them to stop calling. Clearlink/iDish especially.

they are a third-party vendor/aggregate. If you were inquiring about Qwest/Centurylink services, you reached them. You have had business with them, you just were not aware of it because, just like a car dealership: you're not buying from the car company themselves, but rather a vendor, who may have a few different brands of vehicles on the lot.
That's how Clearlink is.

This number will only call you if you called or contacted 'us' first. It's for a multitude of home services, Sat/Landline/Home Security/Fiber/Etc. It is a small, US-based company with a rather unique business model and quite the amazing workforce.
www.clearlink.com is their website.

OK so I called Dish network to get pricing on their plans. Well I didn't go with Dish. They f****rs keep calling me! Oh and they call pretty late at night too. They call around 8:30-9:30pm. I answered it once because Caller ID says PRIVATE then listed this number -- anyway they asked for me by name, so I hung up because I had a feeling it was Dish. After I hung up, they called back to back 4 times and let it ring and ring and ring. Finally I had to take my damn phone off the hook so I could go to sleep. I googled the number and it brought me here. Do they really think by pestering the s*** out of people that it's going to make someone sign up? Enough is enough!

I receive calls from this number after looking into ISP's in the area , Qwest/Comcast. they call me 2-3 times every morning at 7:00-7:30 am since... no voice messages... It is very disappointing. they say it is "Clearlink" whatever this means. I have never had business with this company.

Looks like its time to add to the reject list.

They have called me 4 - 5 times a day for the past week
Leslie 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
I keep getting calls from them and they do not leave a message. Who are they?
MindTracker 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
They have called me several times in the last few days. The computerized greeting states it is "ADT" calling in response to an online request for a rep to call me. I never submitted any online form for anyone to call me.
What makes this worse is that they are calling me on my cell phone. When I press 1 to get to a live operator it just leaves me on hold 4 ever playing elevator music.
Arnie 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
How do we stop this ????
chad 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
I have received 4 calls in a little over 12 hours. 3 calls yesterday afternoon and 1 today.
bwa 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
It's ADT home security. If you answer, press 1, immediately tell them this was an unsolicited phone call and that you need to be removed immediately. They are not typical telephone solicitors and are likely unaware that the call is unsolicited, so I would recommend being courteous but direct.
They transferred me to a different person and I was off of the phone within 5 minutes. An irritation and unnecessary waste of time, but worth it so I don't continue to receive these calls.
Further I was insistent that the woman I was put in contact with let her management know that unsolicted calls to cellular phones are in violation of federal and some state laws and that these calls are being made to cell phones. Hopefully she will forward the message.
