automated messaging spam.

Probably a scam, they hang up because they want you to call them back, most likely long distance at your cost.

said it was ABC calling to inform us that we had won an online entry for a TV, SUV, or vacation.  Not sure if I should call back but most likely a scam.

This phone number called on my cell phone which is listed on the DO NOT CALL Register.

I just recieved a recorded phone call from a Kathy Sutherland (not sure on the last name)  And was told we entered in a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator.  That the contest was now officailly over and that we needed to call Right Away!  My fiance and I enter alot of things so I called and got another message asking me to leave my Name and # and someone would call me back right away.  I hung up.  I'm not sure about it???????

9am on the spot seems to be around the time they call. Similar message to the above ones something about a tv and a trip giveaway were talking pretty fast.Though this time it was a woman named Diane. Obvious that this is a scam.

I got the call on my cell  at 9:03 AM and it said "restricted", therefore I didn't answer. When the voicemail came through I listened to it and it was a prerecorded female voice telling me that I had won a flat screen, SUV or a vacation and I needed to call this number to verify my information. The stated name of the company was AVC. I immediately jumped on the computer and tried to research, and found this site.
Guess I won't be call them back, huh?

I got a call  from  801-513-5747.  I have an unlisted number and I am on the Do not call list. I was told the my email address got picked and I had won  an SUV. I called my local  phone company and Told me to contact the local police to report this as a scam. I google the number and I wrote down all the information about what time the call was place and who call from that Number. I will be filing an  report to the police  get the person to close down the scam.

Left message that I won a drawing and to call back.

I came home from work to find a message on my answering machine from "Wayne" with "DPC" saying that I had won a prize in the SUV/flatscreen TV/trip contest I entered online. The remainder of the message was instructions to call 801-513-5747 to verify my eligibility for the prize I won. It sounded like a bad recording and is obviously a phishing scam since no one in the house had entered any contests for any of the "prizes" online or otherwise.

Received this phone call.  I answered this call only to have the caller hang up after I said "Hello" several times.  I'm on the Do Not Call Registry.

Call at 9:17 AM, may 13, 2008, to my Long Beach, CA number.  No audio, hung up four seconds after I answered.

I got a call from this number this morning.  Caller ID reads: Gold, Wayne & Kr

When I answered, the recorded message said the call was about my possible entry to win an SUV or Flat Screen TV.  The message further stated that I could press "1" to speak with Wayne, live.

Curiosity got the best of me, and I pressed "1".  After a few rings, I was connected to a gentleman who identified himself as Wayne.  He said he needed to confirm some information about the sweepstakes.  He also added that, "If you win the Lincoln Navigator, I've got to come take a ride in it with you."  He then asked if I was between the ages of 25 and 62.  I agreed, and told him that was a pretty good guess, from the sound of my voice (nothing he didn't already know, at that point).

He then asked me, if I had been filling out a questionaire, and if I had seen an income amount of $50,000/year, if I would have answered "more than" or "less than".

At this point, it became obvious to me that he didn't have any "entry form" that I had completed.  I asked him, "Look, if I've completed an entry, why don't _you_ tell _me_ what I put down?"  He explained that his service just put the calls through to him and he doesn't have my entry in front of him.  He further stated that the reason they ask this, is that they had a few young (eighteen-year-old) men win the vehicle, but then the men couldn't pay the taxes on it.

At this point, I told him I would decline to answer that question.  He then responded that, if it was too personal a question, and I didn't feel comfortable, then we could just forget about this, and move on.  He also mentioned that he wasn't "in the mood" to argue with me, and that he would just "give it away to someone else."  I agreed with him, and hung up.

This is very obviously a scam.  My guess is that, at minimum, this caller is developing a list of "active" telephone numbers whose owners meet a minimum income requirement.  Who knows what this company plans to do with the information.

I'm actually sorry I even pressed the "1".  If you get a call from this number, I would recommend ignoring it.  My personal opinion is that the chances of a "Lincoln Navigator" showing up on your doorstep will probably INCREASE if you DON'T call this guy back.

Got a suspicious call from this number.

I got a call from this number pretty early in the morning, but then the caller hung up as soon as I answered the phone.

Got a vm regarding a contest I entered, saying something about an SUV-Big Screen TV that implies I have won as he tells me "congrats" and to call back 801-513-5747.  I normally do not enter contests, so I know it's bogus and don't intend to call it back.  We couldn't have all won......???

I got a call today from a man who was speaking pretty fast, said something about an SUV/Trip/32-inch TV giveaway, said to call back and ask for "Wayne". I have entered a few contests so thought maybe this was real but I decided to GOOGLE the number.... I would not have given any info to the person if I had decided to call back. It just seemed weird.....

got a call from the same number and when i called back it was a weird guy...I have entered several online giveaways but I just do not feel like this is right so i didnt leave my info on his answering device....WEIRD

It was a shady sounding man on a recorded message about a raffle entry picked and they request we call 801 513 5747.  They claim we won a flat screen and congratulations.... considering we are on the do not call list and noone at this number entered a raffle, this was a very shady caller.
