We were given the name Jessica too. Unfortunately, my husband gave them the number not thinking it was a scam. I tried to call the number and got an error message. We actually got the fake check in the mail.

I got basically the same message this morning at 5:45 AM, long before any reasonable local person would be sending text messages. (The wording in the text is a little off and makes me think the sender has English as a second language.)

Received the same type of message! Told them cash only and received a text from a different out of state # that also shows up on here as a scam! Hate that people are like this!

Yeah he hit me up today saying that he will send me a check and somebody will come on Tuesday to pick up what he was buying from me. So u ran his number on Google and luckily I found this it really helped I told him no checks or bank transfers just cash and we have to meet up. He hasn't replied to my text since.

From this number call you if you sell something on Craigslist or KSL to pay you with a fake check.
