Calls and leaves no message!

When the call initially came in no number showed in caller ID.  I talked to a spanish speaking young lady who I could barely understand her English and who called herself Sherri.  She was calling from Degree Mentor but would have to put me on hold while she got her supervisor on the line to assist me with finding an affordable online school.  The supervisor's English was worse than Sherri's.  She confirmed that the call was coming from a Free College Directory service and wanted my date of birth.  I told her I could not give her that information without looking up her service on the Internet.  I was able to get a phone number of 801-618-2808 from her after she stumbled around to find it. I only know that this is a landline in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Called and stayed on line and said nothing. Caller ID stated only Salt Lake City UT - 801-618-2808

I have registered for the DO NOT CALL REGISTERY.  

I BETTER NOT RECEIVE AN MORE CALLS

I also registered for the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, they had better stop calling me to. Won't be that hard to find them in Utah. They called me 6 times today and 4 times yesterday 06-08-10 and when I tried to call it back it kept me on hold and had a recording come on every minutes saying "thank you for being patient, your call is very important. If they call again and continue they can pay for my cell minutes.

Received call on Friday at 2pm. Didn't pick up. Don't recognize number. Starting to get too many unknown numbers. Last number 877-500-2895 left voicemail but no message just background noise. Now get this and looks like another one from 206-397-1535. Don't recognize any numbers so don't pick up.

CALL MANY TIMES A DAY LEAVES NO MESSAGE

Said I had expressed an interest online in obtaining a degree, but it sounded like they were just fishing for info.  Among the questions - "What year were you born?", and a couple questions later "Are you between the age of 18 and 60?"

I filled out what appeared to be a site for Job Searches and started getting a lot of calls. no message left.

I keep getting calls from this number.PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP

i just got a call just right now, saying sarah? i was like wtf yeah, who are you? she said you applied for college i was like um no im in 9th grade why in the world would i applie for college

I just got this call but did not answer since I don't recognize the number.  Never heard of the number or seen it before. How did they get my work number? Bunch of scammers no doubt!

This number called and my husband answered the person on the other end asked for me so my husband asked who was callin so then he asked my husbands name and the guy said well you have been selected for a 1500 dollar loan, my husband hands me the phone and the guy was askin questions and then asked for my bank info told him I dont give it out then he hung up on me and when you try and call the number back it tells you your call cannot be completed thats dialed

Have received repeated calls from this number...When I answer, no one will say anything intelligible.....quite a bit of mumbling.  When I don't answer, no message is left on answering machine

I got one of these--left a message on my answering machine that was barely intelligible--something about a job.  I had filled out an internet form for possible employment as an adjunct at local colleges.  That's when I started getting this call and one from 866-277-6429.  Why?  Something phishy?

Just received a call from the same number a few minutes ago when I answered my phone, no one replied on the other end.

same here, this one is 'university degree options' about 'continuing my education' and 'i indicated on the internet i was interested etc.  i filed complaint w/ FCC, next is call to congressman. i've got half a dozen calls a day for weeks, morning, noon and night.

I am getting at least 10 of these calls a day saying that I requested free money from the government. I repeatedly tell them that I have not requested this and they tell me they will take me off the list. This does not stop.

I'm getting multiple calls from people saying I filled out an online form to learn more about home-based business, continuing my education, more health insurance, etc...Where do these people get this information?  Just started this week and I'm getting 3 or 4 calls a day.

JUST KEEPS CALLING MY CELL NUMBER NO MESSAGE IS LEFT JUST HAGES UP AND CALLS AGAIN AND MY CELL IS ON THE DO-NOT CALL LIST

One of many of these type calls I have gotten today.Not only is my number on the do not call list, but I am also unlisted and un-published. The first time, It apparently was "India" calling. She was told me called me by name, and told me that recently I had expressed interest in home based business. When I asked her exactly how she got my number, she said, "that's not in my script" and hung up.

Same thing happening to me.
