I just got the call too..  No message left..

They guy I talked to is "David" he said he is with IAS!?  He is selling "mentoring" for starting an eBay career.  He is VERY pushy, and asked many personal questions.  I didn't answer his questions & finally hung up on him.  Not 5 minutes later he called back.  I asked to be removed from their call list, to which he replied "we don't have a call list"  If he calls back, he will be reported and hopefully pay a heft fine.

I have been getting these calls too but refuse to pick them up. What causes them to call? My phone number in unlisted. I did add "how to auction on ebay" to my favorites, but I don't remember placing my phone number as a requirement. Has anyone else done that?

Crazy me decided to fill out a form online for selling on ebay and I get a call from this number twice today.  All this after the fact that my girlfriend found this wierd stuff about this number.  Now i'm freaked.

Same as the rest. Setting up a new Ebay store with auction listings. However, I NEVER viewed ANY info outside of E-bay, NONE. So what does that mean? How do they know my phone number and how do I make it stop? They were calling 5-10 times a day. Finally, I answered one, it some jerk from IAS or ASI offering help in setting up my Ebay business for a price. I stated I was NOT interested in their "help" and asked not to be called again. 5 minutes later he called again and asked me to reconsider or they would make sure I never opened any type of ebay business. Who are these guys, the Sopranos? Sounded like extortion to me. I asked never to be called again and hung up but they still call. How do you get rid of these guys short of a hitman? Any suggestions appreciated.

I have been receiving calls from this phone number on a daily basis since I visited website for FREE information regarding how to be successfull selling on e-bay. The caller never leaves a message... quite honestly - I do not answer any calls I am NOT familiar with or I am just not interested in answering the call.  I pay for my cellphone time - they do not!

yeah i gave my number on an "how to auction" type thing online too. that's probably why they're calling me. i guess they'll give up after a while like everyone else lol.

Someone called and claimed to be from eBay and started asking questions.  When I started asking questions he quickly ended the call.

I received a call on my cell from this number. Like above, I never answer calls from people not in my address book. The caller did not leave a msg. I don't believe I put my number in the online free info for selling on eBay form.

So the question is, how did this person get my cell number??

Someone named "Kelly" called me and asked me If I had a girls name too.
He said he was what they call a closet queen wanna be.  He told me that he
likes harleys and tried to sell his momma on E bay. He also said he caught
mad cows disease when he lived in south dakota, he eventually married it and
started a dairy farm in wisconsin. This Kelly character is one strange dude Im thinking he's gay!!!!!

they called me and he was pretty pushy the guy seemed like a fu;;ing automative service using all these "pick up" lines trting to prey off the week i wonder how many people give them there credit card numbers

They called me and didn't leave a message.  I called the number back and it was an automated message about online auctions and automatically connects you to some kind of rep.

Just answer the phone... Its because you decided to download their free kit from ebay and gave your phone number... You just need to tell them to remove your number and they have to.  You know who they are and can always inform them that if they do not stop harrassing you, you will file a complaint with the BBB.

I got the calls too... I called and said that I wanted my number removed off their list and they did so... So far I have not received another call but will let everyone know if it worked or not.

Same as the rest, on e-bay looking around and get a call from 801-676-7730. I did not answer but they continues to call, at least daily for the last week and sometimes more. I'm just beginning to set up a new ebay store with auction listing and have been on Ebay help sections,set-up guides, etc. Kind of scary really, how fast they picked this up and with my correct info. Makes me wonder what else they have. Buying or selling you give out address, phone numbers, bank info like account numbers, debit/credit card numbers, paypal and on and on. I'm on my state's NO CALL LIST, but that didn't stop them either. Making me rethink selling on e-bay at this point. So how do you stop it?

No doubt about it ... It is eBay ... I downloaded some "suggestions" for selling on eBay and, in the first call, the caller made reference to it.  Since then they have called no less than 5 or 6 times a day.  I have no intention of following up on this with eBay.  The material I downloaded is garbage and is poorly done also.  I would block this number if I could.  I will not answer it.  The caller ID just says IAS.

I only clicked on a page to see what was involved in an Ebay home business and then I got this nut calling. I didn't even fill out anything online.

I was searching e-bay, and this man with this phone number called me, he said his name is mike. He would not take no for a answer, when I stated I was no longer interested in doing anything on e-bay. He scared me because he would not take no for a answer. He has been calling me twice a day for the last three days. I do not answer the cell phone, when I see his number of 810-676-7730.
I then turn the phone off, he does not leave a message.

This number has been calling my boyfriend's cellphone for MONTHS now at least twice a day and won't stop.  Thank god my boyfriend is smart enough to not pick up but it's annoying.  He just got put on the Do Not Call List so hopefully if the jerk calls back he'll get in big time trouble.

Calls everyday atleast four times. Today I told them to stop calling! After that the guy called back over twenty times in a row. Over and over. They are driving me insane. These nuts need to be stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know who they are...they called me and left a message stating my first name and asking me that i recently signed up (which i did because it was free, but whatever) to learn how to start a business with e-bay. The guy said his name and said he looked forward to talking to me to get the business started and bla bla bla. I am not going to call back and i hope they don't bother too much cuz i am not going to answer either. but yeah, that's what I got from this number.

I've been getting multiple calls from this number recently--- all different hours---no message left.  Anyone know who these people are?

These people are scam artists...DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK!  They will rip you off!!

person called 2 times in a hour. Called back and it said online auction... or something along those lines
