Nos 801-705-6234 and 6233 - identified himself as Brandon from APX Alarm - I stated - I am not taking sales calls on my cell phone - remove me from your list and hung up; he called back immediately (which constitutes harassment)

The CEO is Todd Pedersen (pronounced with a soft 'e' like 'edison')
Call that number back and ask to speak with him.  I've only ever gotten his voice mail.  but maybe if every annoyed cell phone marketing victim lets him know their annoyance, he'll stop.

calls multiple times a day /night . . . I just ignore it but am getting tired of the continuing ringing of the phone. Never say anything when I have answered though.

i was getting like 6 calls a day on my cell phone and NO message! well turns out my friend referred me to the alarm company and they wanted to install a free system for advertising supposedly well i ended up getting the system and advertising or not i got a free system and all i pay is 39.99 a month for a system that works like a champ!!! the guy on the other end of the line was way nice and super helpful! i think a lot of people are being over dramatic

i actually answered the phone and i realized i was an idiot and kept doing on line surveys and putting my number down. i wanted a free ipod! anyway i listened  to the pitch and it sounded interesting i got the system and i couldn't be more satisfied the system is really nice!! not a bad company after all!!

I have received 11 calls from this number since 1/4/08.  I have not answered the calls as I did not recognise the number.  There are numbers that can charge your phone huge amounts of money if answered I don't know if this is one of those.

I was getting a few calls a day and ended up calling back, it is Apxalarm, they actually have a good deal on their new alarms, I am getting mine installed on Friday.

I am also getting calls from this number on my cell. They NEVER leave a message! Who can this be?!

Calling multiply times a day. I filed a complaint with the FCC. As my cell phone is a work phone and not a personal cell phone this is illegal. They can call regular cell phones all they want...no law against that. The do not call list only works for Lan Line phones. I found many articals and news reports on the company. APX or APEX...are just a couple of the many names they give out. Call the number and add yourself to the do not call list or the calls will keep coming no matter how many times you tell them not to call over the phone. And take the time to report them to the FCC. Maybe this will get them to stop this.

I was receiving 6 or 7 calls/hangups from this number a day. Finally I called them last Wed, (the recorded message said it was Apex Alarms) got a menu, one of the choices being able to ask to get off of their list. I pressed that one and left a message asking them to please take me off of the list as I am getting 6 or more calls a day and that it is very disruptive. I sounded kind of desparate but at that point I really was. Between them and others I was coming home to 20-25 messages. I have not received a call from them since. Kudos to them. I hope this works for others.

Calls my cell phone a couple times a day, never leaves a message and I haven't answered the phone.

Update: The company is APX Alarms, sometimes spelled as Apex. This is an alarm company out of Provo, Utah. This is basically a sells call and the reason they don't leave messages is because they want to speak to you directly to sell you an alarm system.

They asked for David (my husband).  I said he wasn't home and could I take a message.  They just hung up!  The man's name was 'Benjamin'.  I called the number and it turns out to be APEX ALARM.

they just started calling today, several times! I never answer calls that i do not recognize, i wait for a vmsg. of course they never leave one. glad now that i know who they are i can blck their number.

We receive 5-10 calls from them each day. We've never answered, but this has become an incredible nuisance.

They call me 4-6 times per day Monday thorugh Saturday for over a month now.  I have filed at least 100 complaints with the Do Not Call Registry and nothing stops Apex Alarms!  The DNC list is a joke!

I will not answer this number and they use 801-705-6235 also nand this is begining to realy upset me. I get any where from 5 to 7 a day everyday someone needs to stop them.

I am surprised that a once quality company Honeywell has sunk to the level of using the worse kind of telemarketing. APX Alarm JERKS that cannot take NO for an answer. Reported them to the National Do Not Call registry several time but they keep on calling! P.S. We have not refinanced or had a break-in.

keep getting calls on my cell phone and at home, at least four a day.  they wont leave a message and if i don't recognize the number i don't answer it.  if it so important to get in touch with me, leave a message and i will call you. IDIOTS!!!!

here's an idea:  stop filling out online surveys or trying to win an ipod or a laptop.  that's where they get your information.  unless you like receiving hundreds of calls
