Sorry---this is not Life Alert.  I do have Life alert so I called them and they have nothing to do with this company.  It is some kind of home security system and they are just trying to get some business.  Personally I wouldn't talk to them.  I don't answer my phone any longer---too many of these calls.  The gal calling left a message saying they were my Life Alert and I needed to call for some kind of an emergency.  Just more BS

Yes, this # called me, I googled it and found this blog, they did leave a v/m, this was for my mom's Bay Alarm Medical alert system (I have fallen and can't get up), I am the emergency contact for her system. The v/m was very informative. They identified themselves, told me why they were calling my phone, informed me that there was NOT an emergency, (so as to not panic), but that their connection at my mom's house had failed.  Her electricity had gone off due to severe weather in the area.  I am glad they called me.  They are doing their job well!  We checked the connection and verified it with the central call station and we are good to go.  Thank you Bay Alarm Medical!!  I'm thankful it was not an emergency, but am also thankful we have this system in place, just in case.

My family does not have a monitoring service or alarm system that alerts us of any kind and we received a call from this number claiming that my mother had been in an accident and is being sent to the emergency room. They said "have a nice day" at the end of the message and hung up without a chance to say anything back. My mother was in no harm. This is a bit scary considering it was completely false and we have no affiliation to this company.

It was a company notifying me that my elderly mom had pushed her medical notification necklace.

I had rather be called a million times for a false alarm on my grandmother than the one time it is for real...

They monitor my 87 y/o mother in law FWIW the monitor will not help anyone live longer.
Now the alarm company will make up a phony post how their ma or dad life was saved.

8:40pm.  Didn't answer, they left a message, "Hi, this is Bree, just trying to see if you would like to have Friday off of work..."

I agree with Paul. They monitor my 86 yr old father in law, and do make periodic calls to check on the system, ask him to check, etc.  For what I'm paying monthly, it's good to know that they're monitoring. The only thing I can think of is that those not having the service who get a call are the victims of incorrect dialing.

Those receiving calls from this number it is ok to answer. It is a contracted alarm monitoring company that monitors for many alarm companies in the u.s

Could you please tell me how you got off the hook by using the state authorities? I am now in the same predicament with Time Payment Corp and the false security company Upper Peninsula Security.

Call from this No. at 9.58 pm 7/14/12, a women.saying she was upper peninsula security response. and was responding to a security breach at my business... would I want her to call the authorities???  I had been duped into asecurity setup with Time Payment Corp(watch out for this one.... stay far far away from them... it is a scam company with all the bells and whistles)!!!!  This so called security system was a joke!  System had been inoperative from the beginning, finally got with my state authorities, got off the hook... now this!!!  Look up Time Payment Corp all you see is fraud and scam!!!  My so called security system has been totally disconnected for months.... now out of the blue.... here is this call!!!

Yes they are a monitoring company who monitors my mothers life alert. Got a call this morning and was in a bad area for cell phone reception. I called them back gave them my number and they where letting me know her alarm system had gone to battery back up and they could not reach her. I was able to get the system pluged back in and working. I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THEM. If they are calling you it is not their fault someone gave them wrong info. They are doing what they are contracted and paid to do. Don't fault them for that.

This is the number from Life Alert which responds to a crisis call for a disabled person.  If you are called it is because you are listed as an emergency contact for a person who wears the medical band.  (I've fallen and can't get up)  Please respond, it could be your grandmother.

They monitor my father's life alert. Not terribly impressed with them,  either.

This is a number for a company who monitors for Response Link - think of the 'I've fallen and I can't get up' ad on TV.

I BELIEVE THIS IS A HOME SECURITY COMPANY.  I RECEIVED THE CALL AT 2:30AM.  I DO NOT HAVE A SECURITY ALARM AND CERTAINLY DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING WOKEN UP AT 2:30AM FROM SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW!  IT ALSO SEEMS TO ME THAT THE "DO NOT CALL LIST" DOESN'T WORK RIGHT"

This was Global Security.  They didn't leave a message, but when I called them back, they were trying to notify of an alarm for a property that I am associated with.

This is an alarm monitoring company based in Washington and Utah. I don't think they call the wrong # intentionally. For some reason there are idiots out there who change the phone # they want notified if their alarm goes off and forget to notify the company who monitors their system. Like any other company, they also have idiots working for them who don't understand until the 5th or 6th time that the phone # they are calling is no  longer associated w/the alarm.
The company is now called AvantGard, but has also gone by Mountain Alarm, Alarm Monitoring Services and others

1-801-781-6101 called ID said it was Alarm Monitoring.  We don't have an alarm on the house/car ect. So think it's telemarketing. I answered, they hung up.

they are idiots..i recieved six calls from them telling me that i am berry mfg and they are checking on an alarm...this went on for several days even after i told them who i was and they were calling a resident.

They have called me twice today and they don't leave messages.  I called back, and the woman who answered said her name was Erica, and I couldn't understand the company she represented.  Probably some random sales call.
