My father just got another one of these in the mail. It was a post card that said he won a $100 gift card to Walmart or Target, to call 1-801-893-3388 and he received a claim number. I told him to throw it away! It is a scam. It's a shame that they are targeting the elderly.

I receive a call from some female telling me that Wal-Mart was sending me $600 in gifts.  I thought that this was because I had some time ago entered info regarding how Wal-Mart is my favorite store and also told how satisfied I was with the products sold there and the good customer service I received.  But at the time of the call, I had to leave my phone line open as I was expecting a very vital call from a Hospital.  So I admit that I was rude to that caller and hung up on her, but I had been very ill and needed to get the help that the call from that doctor could provide for me.

I've received two postcards stating I've won a $100 reward, called an some female actually got pissed with
me, when I refused to give her my c c #. That's when it hit me this is a fraud. I wish they stop this b.s.
I don't have time for it.

I got a postcard in mail stating to call back.

Receive bs postcard stating unclaimed reward.....shame on these criminals!!!

Check the postmark on the envelope or postcard. Also be suspicious of telemarketers who say you?ve won a contest you can?t remember entering.

received same post card... any legitimate biz would also put their name as a point of reference.... the more devious the behavior to scam someone, the more distance is placed upon not being able to trace them..... this is one of the signs of bad behavior... because businesses who truly promote free gifts also want recognition for doing these charitable deeds and to also receive more advertising for their company!

i gave thm my old pre pay card number has no money on it....thy called me back  and i was like hold on tryin to c if this a scam thy hung up...lmmfao

Got in the mail, told me i could receive $25 gift card or $600 gift card for $2 off my card. Thankfully i have no card right now, and I hung up when they tried to put me on hold. Stupid but in some ways i wish it were true. How dare they get my hopes up :( scammers XP

I called and was told that for a small fee of $5.95 I too could have the free gift card. When I told the person that it was illegal to charge anything for a free gift they did not want to talk to me anymore. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Received post card stating to call above number ref. winning $100 gift rebates from Wal-Mart, Target, etc.  Did not call thinking it was a scam.  Thanks to you I can save myself the trouble of finding out it probably is a scam.   THANKS!!
