I am the receptionist for a company with MANY employees, this company - always the same woman, will call for pretty much everyone.

I have told her repeatedly to remove us from the calling list, but still she calls.  I am close to writing and stating that they are breaking the law by continuing to call even after I have requested to be removed.

I answered the call, a woman was on the other end, her accent difficult to understand. She went through her sales spiel. I demanded the mailing address of her company, which she replied was West Orem, Utah. When I demanded the full mailing address, she recited a valediction and hung up.

I called the number back, the call was answered by a Shoretel VoiceMail System, extension 378. When the system sets you up to record a voice message, you can hit 0 to be transferred to a receptionist. A pleasant young lady answered, no accent. I introduced myself, asked for the mailing address of her company.

I told her I had been receiving unwanted phone calls, asked to be taken off the list. She replied that she would do so, it could take up to 48 hours. I informed her that I had so requested many times in weeks past, that I was to be removed immediately, that I would consider any other calls to be harassment.

I just got a call from this number. It would appear they got my business information from public records. The lady asked for a Manager and rattled off something about IMS and Federal Financial Group. When I googled that I found http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/8014322126

I strongly suspect this to be a solicitation or scam. Anyways I just agreed with whatever info they claimed to have without telling them anything they didn't already know. She verified name of company and address. Whatever it's on the website and public info. Then she said she needed to ask some qualifying questions. The first one was age. She asked if I was in one of the following age groups... I "conveniently" wasn't in any of them. She said thanks and hung up.

This is a solicitation cleverly disguised as some sort of contest or something so they can get around the Federal Do Not Call List. I'll be blocking their numbers in Google Voice.

Don't know who this is.  I am Wanted by many debt collection agencies.  I have no verifiable income, so as long as they don't get in touch with me, that 7yr statute is almost near.

Ahhh, 1.5-2 more yrs and they'll be gone forever.  No bankruptcy was needed!

Lady called selling something, i asked her to remove me from her call list, she ignored my request and she tried to sell me her product, I repeatedly asking her until I was finally yelling at her that she needs to listen to my request and stop calling, she called 5 times in 1 day. and has yet to remove me from her call list, attempts to get forwarded to a supervisor failed.
