i am an officer and have been contacted by this man with identical mo, thanks to police reports made and the help of this website i have submitted this man for official review, if you could explain exactly how he scammed you and what happened after the promise of the check it would be helpful in the investigation, thank you.

Its sad that as of the 29th of April 2013 this guy is still running scams, he tried to purchase a high ticket item with a cashiers, he said he would sait to pick it up until I knew the check cleared the bank. Its a bummer to see him still around.

He tried to scam me too! Not cool. He offered me a cashiers check and said he would pick the item up once he I knew the check cleared the bank.....Yikes, Watch out

i got a text from this person also . so i play there scam and scam them back asking for more. i am working with the local fbi office to orun a trace and i hope this will stop the person. . it good to know a few person a the fbi office . if you been hurt and please also file claims with the local fbi office in your area.

I recieved a text at 1:14 AM this morning for high ticket craigslist item. Dirtbag is still around.

Same here a well, he wants to buy a car, with shipping price to forward to him by western union, he send me a fake check
he gave me his name LARA JONES 42 KILLINGTON AVE RUTLAND VT 05701

I HOPE HE GET COUGHT ONE DAY

Same MO  - scum sucking low life.

They called my cell today and did not leave a message.

Got a txt this morning and wouldn't answer any of my questions and thats when I googled their number

Just got a text for a craigs list item from this number, in very broken english. Obviously this scammer is still up and running.

He has tried the same thing with me,I also was selling something on Craigslist they need the catch this thief!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needs to be stopped, if craigslist is what they say they are then they need to stop this guy he has tried to scam tons of people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was also selling a big ticket item on craigslist. Same mo...same story. Not cool.

I too was selling a big ticket idem on Craigs list and text me saing they wanted to buy. But needed my banking information to send me a certified check. And they would send a mover to inspect and ship the idem. I have seen and heard of this scam before. Seller beware don't fall for this scam. Always deal in cash and always in person in a public place. Be safe, and I have never sold anything that they didn't try to talk you down. Or wanted more pictures

Another scammer that needs arrested...

I have gotten numerous requests from this number wanting to buy a high ticket item I am selling on craigslist with a cashiers check.  I googled the number and see he has tried this with other people.  I wish he would get caught by the law. At least I know I am not falling for his tricks.
