Exactly the same thing. 2 counts ssn, etc. I reported mine to the Texas attorney general. No response from them. It is all voice recording and there is only the number. Obviously the same as the person or tactic used on you.

I've received this call several times over the last few days and the recording is a female and identifies the company as Process & Summons Division. She said I had two fraudulent activities with my S.Sec. number and I would be served at home or work. I called Better Business Bureau and they have no listing for that company.

They keep calling my 76 yr old mother in law. Have her scared to death that she is going to lose her SSA benefits. Say she owes them money. They don't even have her name right, let alone any other information. It is EXTREMELY disturbing for her. How do  I stop them?

I just got the same call and computer identifies the "attorney's name as Debbie A Bryant". It does not mention the person's name and gives me the case number C05163. I also looked up the person's name and could not find an attorney by that name. Thank you for the information.

My father received a call from this number 3 days ago, 802-448-5539. Same type foreign sounding automated message with 2 charges against my SS# and to call the legal department.  He thought there was a warrant for my arrest, lol!  Poor pitiful things!  I hope these posts are helping track down these criminals!

I too received a call with an automated message from these people.  I find it funny that everyone that received the call was told they would receive TWO counts of fraud against their ss#.  I also find it funny that they called for me using my maiden name which hasn't been used for anything in over 13 years.  If these calls were real, we would not be receiving an automated threat message which is illegal.  I'm betting everyone who has received the call has gotten the same exact message except for the part where they used our names.  Also, the number that is showing up on caller ID is a spoofed number so it can not be traced.  Do not give these people any personal info about yourself.  After much research about this number, I know now not to answer my phone anymore if I see the number on caller ID.  If you are going to be served with a summons, then you would receive written notification in the mail.  

I also received a recorded call with the name "Gary A" stating that fraud charges have been made on "my" ss number.

Per the FDCPA, no one should pay any caller who refuses to MAIL - do not accept email or fax - proof that they owe a debt and proof that their callers can legally collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this documentation is a violation of federal law.  Bottom line - this is an extortion attempt to scare you into paying a debt that is bogus, has already been paid off, or even is owed, but to another company.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

Not clear if there is a business relationship, but this Allen firm does deal in debt collection.

This collector needs to be reported everywhere.  My thought is he could be a professional.  The scare tactics is what I am concerned about with strong fraud comments.  I wonder if anyone has ever reported them. The number is Vermont I think.

This number is making serious calls.  I believe they can take action but how far can they go.  Is your debt time barred? Did you try to resolve it?  The Mike Strong I talked to broke all debt collection laws.  He says he can pursue charges at the county in my state but is it time barred.  Is it something where he finally said he would sue.  My state has time statues on civil matters as well as his fraud accusation.  I plan to pursue all reporting things I can such as the FTC, BBB, IC3 form and the state attorney general. My state wants a company name not just a persons name and number.

Do you know if Allen and Associates is the name of the company?  I talked to Mike Strong and could not get the company.  Same number. I am reporting them to the FTC and they won't take it without a company.  Do you know the address or location.? My debt is time barred and I plan to try to report the collector as much as I can.

They continue to tell me they are a "Summons" company.  The latest threat was that they are going to issue 2 charges in my county for fraudulent activity against my social security number. They also want to make me aware of my legal rights prior to issuing the summons.  They even gave a me a case number.  If I do not call them I will forfeit my legal rights.They also want to verify my home and work addresses.   Do they really think people are that stupid?????  

This number called my phone.  I called the number back and if was a man named Mike Strong that answered.  He is a debt collector/ server of legal papers.  He wanted to verify social security number and birth date.  I refused. He said I owe a Payday loan and said the name of the payday loan real fast and I didnt catch it.  I asked for it again and said are you a debt colllector and asked for his location and address and name of company. He refused to give the name of his company or his address.  he said that he was in the same state I am in but his phone number is another state. He refused to give debt infromation and violated the debt collection laws. He was very short and did say fraud was committed against the ssn.  I asked for him to identify his company and address and said I would get an attorney to talk to him.  He hung up but made some intimidating comments before he did about fraud and will sue. I turned the number into my state attorney generals office and the IC3 form since it was an internet company.  I hope to do the FTC too.

Same call came to my cell phone, and a message was left for Sonny (Sunny) Holley. My case was identified as MX 15207 and that I would be served at either my home or place of employment. I could call 802-448-5539 to address this issue, which I did not do. Numerous messages have been left on my cell phone over the last several months for Mr. (Ms.) Holley saying the same thing. So far no one has shown up to serve me with any legal papers.

These people are SO rude! I keep getting voicemails from them saying they are going to take me to court and this is the "last time they will call." They are threatening and extremely rude, I will be answering the phone next time they call, they will wish they never talked to me. :)

I just got a call today  from 802 448 5539 saying that I have fraud charges against my name and ss# and that I will be served summons in my workplace or home.  

See my reply to sue and get a call blocker.  Not much you can do if they call you at work, but the reason they call you at work is to create a fear you will lose your job.  It's insidious they way they work.  

Don't give in.  Don't let them intimidate you, don't let them throw around words like arrest and warrant and jail and all that other garbage they do.

No.  Don't be concerned about it.  This is a scam company.   Most likely kitchen table debt collectors.  All bark and no bite. Ignore 'em.  If they have a legitimate complaint, tell 'em to send you a written copy of the debt with all particulars and send it US Mail.  E mail no good.  

They don't do that--tell 'em to go to hell!

I filed a complaint with the BBB (could not locate the company), also with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  all these numbers:  718 56--6524, 603-296-2314 & 802-448-5539 all call me with the same case number.  I spoke to  Mike Strong or Straw, whatever his name, in regards to a payday loan, I told him to email me a form for me to sign, electronically, before I signed, i looked up these numbers only to find out that they're scams.  i should know better as to who i owe!!  on 4/11/14, this "mike" called my manager in regards to me, my manager then forwarded the call to HR!  I spoke to my manager and told him what's going on, and he knows how these people work and my company's procedure is that my manager cannot give out any information about me to know, just to transfer the calls to Human Resources.  I let my manager know that I've filed a complaint to BBB, FCC and I even went to the website of the New York City Civil Court, to see if I see my name on anything, nothing showed up.  this is not the first time that they've actually called HR and a co-worker at my job.  I don't like telling people my business, but in this situation i had to notify my boss about what's going on.  he told me not to worry.  and like the previous person who stated, if it's court papers you will get some written notice in the mail, not a phone call.  if your phone rings, whether its at work, cell or home phone, if number is not familiar to you, don't pick up and don't give them the time of day.  once you speak to them, you've open the door to non-stop harassment!!  i'm keeping a phone log.
 

Call saying I owe a pay day loan and I owe a thousand dollars and if I didn 't pay thete would be 2 counts of theft on my social security number and I will be get a court summons. These srecscammers getting information from previous pay day loans I had but I paided off. I am reporting them yonthe FTC and Attorney General Office they have to be stopped.
