This needs to stop!!!!!!!!!! We need to figure out the scam! What are these people after? what is the angle? Are they fishing?

Just got the call... total bs. my car insurance is fine and I've never given my insurance company my cell number so this call is totally stupid.

Really who would be smart enough to believe a pre-recording. I mean it said something about this is your second warning or something that your car insurance is expired. blah blah... Like really, I would know if my car insurance is expired. I pay for it. Geez.

I have recieved multipule calls from this number, 2 times I chose to speak with someone, the first time when I asked what their company name was they hung up, the second time the caller answered "Warranty ServIces", didn't even pronounce it correctly, I asked if they were incorporated and he had no idea what I was even talking about. My car is 6 months old with 6000 miles on it, totally a scam.

So I got a call from this number (probably the 5th or 6th from the same company).  I faked them out this time and went through the whole "what's your car make and model".  Told the guy I had a meeting to go to and asked for a call-back number.  His name was MIKE GRIFFIN and the phone number he gave is 866-364-3331 x 107

I called the number and a guy answered and said "Warrany division".  I asked for their mailing address and he said he would "get it for me" after which I was put on hold.  In any case, that's their number if you want to talk to them.

Also rec'd call on my cell. Was on call with another person and when I picked it the caller's automatic message was going, so I just hung up as it appeared to be a solicitor call.

Just received a call from 802-848-7489, regarding car warranty. But no one was there answering the phone.

I got a call from the same number and I missed it. When I called back it gives error. Thanks to all to know that it is a scam.

received call from this number. search revealed the name and address. i recommend responding in a similar annoying manner.
you know those little pieces of paper that are inside of your magazines, the ones that want you to subscribe to some other magazine? well, just fill them out with her name and address and send them in. now she will be getting every solicitation out there. that should make her happy.

I got the same BS too.  They called my cell phone.  The weird thing was, they called the company I work at a day ago for the same crap.  Whoever they are, I say FCUK THEM.

Got a call from 802-848-7489. Held on for human and asked for business mailing address, He replied good Luck finding us and hung up. DO NOT EVER ANSWER THIS NUMBER!

I got the call today from same number and I should have not answered.
The second I heard the pre-recorded message on "car warranty" I hung up.
My co-worker has been getting a number of their calls too.

Same as every else here, getting missed calls but three different numbers in a row. . .best to not answer, they do not leave VM's and have been told on other sites if you dont answer they will eventually go away.  The numbers I have gotten calls from are:

This is total BS. Add the number to your "blocked" list. it is a machine so if it goes straight to Voice Mail it will not leave a message and you should be bothered. Only problem is that I think they called me from two different numbers over the last few months.

I just received a call from this number. I repeatedly ask caller which company i this? And she did not respond. It was very suspicious. Do not give any of your information. SPREAD THE WORD.

We have had a TON of our customers (I work at a car dealership) calling and complaining about these calls. They have been going on for MONTHS now. If anyone has an answer to make them stop- I would LOVE to hear it. Im worried that these people are going to take advantage of customers of ours that dont know better- and we will be stuck explaining the mess.
So far, I have been telling people to register ALL their numbers on the DNC list- and to say that FIRST when they talk to anyone. I wish I knew of a better option than that though.

Same story as above. Really annoying!! How do these people get cell phone numbers?  Also getting stuff in the mail re car warranty. I drive a 1988 car that I bought used in 1992.  It's warranty expired years ago.

When receiving calls from Car Warranty sales people, they will need your VIN number.  Just tell them you have to go get it and then set the phone down and let them wait and wait and wait ... eventually, they hang up.  If everyone did this, they would go out of business in no time ...

Got a call on my cell too. Waiting for them to call me back cause I'm going to give them a run around and waist some of there precious time since they most likely get paid by commission. Going to give them some fake info:)

I am getting these calls regularly and I updated my addr book with DoNotTake Call entry.

Funny reading these comments.  I got a vmail at 10:11am PST 7/2.  It starts in the middle of a sentence - imagine a guy droning on:

"...has expired and should be reactivated to protect you against the cost of repairs.  If you have not responded to this notification, it's not to late.  Please don't make the mistake of driving without a warranty. You are still eligible to reactivate warranty coverage.  This is the final call before we close the file. Press 2 to be removed from the follow up list.  Or press 1 to speak with a representative now about your vehicle."

When I listened to it - I thought to myself - good god!  I'm driving without a warranty!  They didn't tell me who it was.  I called the number and said the circuits are busy.  But then I thought - wait - what warranty?  I'm leasing the car and have insurance - both are paid-up.  

Then I Googled the number and found all these lovely comments.  It's laughable now.  My phone says the call originates in Vermont.  Next time they call I'm giving them the SS# from that dood from LifeLock.

I have ALL the information! The Company "Wildgate" "Digitcom Services"in Canoga Park, California is transferring the calls for these various scam artists. The "Wildgate" "Digitcom Services, Telephone Service Company admits to receiving LOTS of complaint calls and say that the real perpetrators are only buying time on their routers and telephone numbers as a service to DISGUISE the true identity of the callers who are obviously engaged in Identity Fraud.

Wildgate "Digitcom Services Should not be operating as a conduit to disguise callers with criminal intent!!! and should discontinue service to these Fraudulent companies. Since the WildGate "Digitcom Services" Customer Service People ADMIT that they handle the calls and know about the problem, Doesn't this Make Wildgate Digitcom Services a Co-conspirator? I hope the Action's of Wildgate Digitcom Services open them up to TREMENDOUS financial Liability!!

Is Wildgate Digitcom Services Being a responsible Company? Is Wildgate Digitcom Services acting Legally? We need to contact each Attorney General's Office in Each State and file a Complaint against Wildgate Digitcom Services . We need to file a grievance regarding Wildgate Digitcom Service's Practices with the FCC. Also we need to file a Complaint Against Wildgate with the Consumer Protection Department in each state to stop Wildgate from handling calls that Wildgate Digitcom Services Themselves admit to being routed through their systems.

I got a few calls form 802-848-7489 this week.  I picked up the last one and it was the "Warranty Expiration Crap".  I held to speak to someone and when the guy came on the phone, I told him that this was my cell phone and I don't have a car and before I could finish, he rudely hung up.  What a bunch of Pricks!

last week I recieved calls from a 781-273-3656 number, they kept leaving messages to call them because my warranty is about to expire.  I ignored it after i checked the number here on this website.  Today I got a call from this number 802-848-7489, they did not leave a message but as I check the number out on here I see its same scam but different number......I hope they get the people doing this to everyone.

Now the number is stating that they are installing cable lines in your neighborhood and to "press 1 to schedule an appointment." It is still the same scammer company. They call me every single day.
