ICF or ICFI take your pick, is under contract to the VA to conduct a survey of Vets opinions on how the VA healthcare treats its patients,  I have received previous calls from ICF(I) and told them that I'm retired from the Navy and my only dealing w/the VA healthcare system was to get evaluated for a disability. This was many yrs ago and I told the young lady I was not going to take the survey as some of the questions were intrusive and I don't use the system. If they call me again I will complain to the VA contracting officer and General Shinseki who heads up the VA. Vets are not required to take the survey.

A young lady called me on Sunday afternoon today  (from 1-802-861-3487) and said she was with the VA and was taking a survey.  Told her I had never received a call like this from the VA.  Asked her what country she was calling from and she said the U.S.  Asked here what state - and she said Virginia.  Refused to provide answers for the survey.  She attempted to reschedule the call for a more convenient time.  Refused to participate - a VA call on the weekend is highly suspect.

They called me this evening at 7:00 pm, left a message on answering machine - said they were calling about VA survey.

Legit VA healthcare survey to find out how we like the quality of the crappy health care we recieve. Be honest when you answer maybe things will get better... Oh wait its the VA... They wont ask you for personal information or money just mostly yes or no answers or Agree-disagree

This is a legitimate survey company hired by the VA. You would have recieved a letter in the mail also asking you to complete the survey. They didnt ask me for any personal identifying information. Asks questions on how satisfied you are with your VA care, how well you know the system and how well you know the ACA and if that would decrease your reliance on the VA

Just had a conversation with a couple of their "operatives".
The company is called ICF International - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICF_International

The first operator didn't know what ICF stood for.  
He also claimed to be a part of the Federal Government, which is NOT true.

I asked for his supervisor, and she told me what the initials stood for (Inner City Fund) but that they grew and were an international company, and that since they are contracted out by the govt, then the do not call list rules do not apply to them.

Feels like they are gathering information to either sell, or to track down people their Masters want to "neutralize".

This number was on my caller ID list, but no message. Blocked... Thank you...

IT WAS A SURVEY ABOUT MEDICAL CARE RECIEVED THROUGH THE VA AND TIME IN SERVICE AND VARIOUS QUESTIONS ON NUMBER OF VISITS AND MEDICATIONS USED AND  PERCENTAGE OF HEALTH CARE YOU RCVD FROM THE VA.

Just got a call. No ID. No message left... On the NO CALL LIST (Like that's working). SICK AND TIRED of this type of calling. FCC, FTC, DO YOUR DAMN JOB and stop crap calls like this. UUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!

These people called me on a Sunday evening at 730. Claiming to be VA reps. Something about a survey. I cut him off when I asked what my address was.....it was wrong.

Got a call Sunday p.m. Said it was the VA. I hung up knowing the VA sure ain't workin on a Sunday.

Goodness, some people are paranoid! It's a legit survey. Try taking the survey, and by doing so, maybe you will help yourself or someone else in the future.

As I was looking over my Phone bill and checking the OUT GOING CALLS I had noticed that calls from my land line to 802-861-3487 were made at hours like: 12am, 10:45pm for atleast  4 days.  I had reported this to my phone company and they are looking into it........Those who live here are not up at the times the calls were made.  SOOOOO  look out !  Something is going so wrong with this number.

They called me too claiming to be from the Veterans Administration and IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT DO!  I called the Veterans Administration at the local VA Hospital and he told me it is a huge scam going around, and that I made a good choice not answering any questions.  The scammers are getting information about Veterans to scam them.  

I asked the man on the other end of the ICF phone number ( 802-861-3487) which showed up on my caller ID for a website so that I could look up the survey myself and he immediately hung up on me.  We need to stop these scumbugs.  Call your local VA and report it please.

Caller hung up call prior to any message or to verify caller's identification or location. Unable to confirm this unknown number as being a valid number used by ICF International. I do not answer or respond to any unknown number, plus I block all unwanted numbers or area codes from ringing my private number.

I received a call asking to do a survey about the VA.  They offered to send me a questionnaire in the mail instead of taking the information by phone since it would require at least 30 minutes.  They appeared to be doing a legit survey.  They had my address and knew I had been associated with the VA in the past.  The nice lady also said I could skip any questions which didn't pertain to my current or past VA activity.  She also said it would be a month before they started mailing the survey to those who have asked it to be mailed to them.
