They have called 6 times today.My caller ID says Winthrop University.I finally answered and told them that I have already asked them not to call anymore.The young lady on the phone said that she would remove my number.Well 30 minutes later I got another call.They are getting very annoying.

They called our Business Line first after hours and didn't leave a message, within minutes, they called our home line and also did not leave a message. Then, they called again saturday night, sunday night and monday night. I missed the call each time, they never leave a message. It's not election time, so I don't know what kind of stupid survey they're trying to do now. Based on the responses here, I'll block them in my cell phone service to prevent further SPAM.

I am not alumni, but they called my cell phone and then our house line all within 10 minutes on a saturday night, sunday night and now monday night. every night at the same time 6.18 pm WTH?

Didn't know who they were so I didn't answer. Saw the above message stating they were asking for the oldest male and wanted to talk about Obama. The oldest male in my house doesn't work. I work, and I'm a female and I think Obama needs to be run out of the country. I work two jobs to feed and medicate my husband and he can't even get a raise on his Social Security while Mama Obama eats ribs and Papa Obama enjoys lots of golf games. If they call back I will be sure to answer and tell them where they can stick their questions!

they were doing a phone bank survey. Winthrop University does that from time to time. I actually know exactly what that phone call was for. Lucky me and my winthrop university knowledge. Anyway they were doing it for a news column for the johnsonian. don't worry about it.

Caller ID showed up as SC State Gvt,
the statee I live in.
