I called this number back from a separate line and was told the name was Jc or Go services in rock hill sc. I did not stay on the ice long enough to ask any questions after that.

They said they were from Allstate Motor Club. They also said they were recording the call. In response I said that I would not give my consent to be recorded. Since the caller had no way to turn off their recording, they had to hang up! I'm going to try that on more marketers.

I was in Columbia,S.C. this past weekend and made a purchase at Harbor Freight and they asked for my #. Harbor Freight is selling their customers info in return for discounts. I will be calling corporate to let them have it.

This is certainly a scam. Sometimes they call claiming to want donations, sometimes it's wanting to put in a free security system in exchange for having a sign in your yard. (Which is probably just a signal for someone to rob you, because the security system is bogus, anyway.)

I too live in Sc and have gotten these calls. They ask for a pledge,then they say they are switching you to a supervisor, but its just the same guy trying, unsuccessfully, to change his voice. SCAM...they are trying to find your addresses so they can figure out your credit card billing addresses or stael your identity. Hang up on them!!

I keep receiving calls unwanted from this company although I am on the "Do Not Call" list. Please remove my number and stop the calls.

HAVE RECEIVED CALL FROM THIS NUMBER NUMEROUS TIMES. DO NOT RECOGNIZE NUMBER, DO NOT ANSWER IT. CALL AT LEAST TWICE A DAY AND EVEN ON SUNDAY.

this no calls once or twice every few days, never leaves msg.  Didnt recognize no so didnt pick up.  In reading other comments appears to have same MO for all those he calls.

This number repeatedly calls me but when I call back I get a busy signal. I will try to block this number.

These clowns have been calling repeatedly over the past severl weeks.  I hang up on them.

This number calls my home AND cell number several times throughout the day for about 4 days now. This is a scam trying to collect money for some sort of troopers association. I've asked them to take me off their list. Quite annoying.

Got a call from this number and the man said his name is "Jeff Stewart".  They are asking for donations fo SC Law Enforcement.  I asked if he was a police officer and he said he was a "paid fund raiser" and hung up.  This call has "scam" written all over it!!!

This number is raising money for the SC Troopers Association.  For those that do not know, they have absolutely NOTHING to actually do with SC Troopers.  They are not comprised of troopers and there are no records showing that they actually ever use money collected to do what they claim (scholarships for fallen Troopers kids).  In fact, a couple years ago it became public that several of the leaders of this group were KKK.

But it still is "charity" and does not fall under the Do Not Call list.

These people have been calling my mom about twice a day for the past two days.  The first time they called she wasn't home.  When she called back, she listened to some hip hop ringback tone for a couple of minutes then some guy answered saying they were raising money for some sheriffs fundraiser and wanted to know if she wanted to pledge either $45 or $55.  My mom told them to send her something in the mail and she would consider it.  The guy told her he could only do that If she promised to pledge a donation, then he told her his supervisor wanted to speak with her and proceeded to try to disguise his voice. She hung up, but she is concerned because these guys have her address and she's wondering if they have any other info on her

I get a call from this number everyday about two times a day.  Does not leave message.

It is a fundraiser I think from the SC Law enforcement, or so they say.  I told them to send me the information by mail and I would look it over.  He said that they would send it if I promised to pledge a donation.  I just hung up.  If they really wanted to raise money they could send the information.  I support my law enforcement but not like that.

I got a call yesterday at 10 am and today at 5:50 pm. No message left either time and id shows the phone number. I live in SC but different area code than this number.

Whoever it is called twice today, so far.  I did not recognize the number and my caller ID said "unavailable", so I let my answering machine take it.  No message left either time.  Judging by the other posts here, it looks like he's having a busy day.

I called this number back. Listened to some hip hop ringtone thing for a few seconds, some guy name answers like I had just woke him up. He said his name was Warren something and that he was calling about a "fundriser" - his words - for some association that I had never heard of. I just hung up.
