This call was actually from a Loan Modification Processor, if you are getting a Wells Fargo Loan Modification it may be them needing more information, they usually leave their name with a call back number if it is them needing more information...

Repeated calls from 8035788374 asking for detailed personal information and refusing to disclose the purpose of the call - claiming to be Wells Fargo mortgage. Either fraud or WF needs to improve telephone manner.

Its Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. They start calling by the 3rd of every month if they have not received payment yet, even though the grace period is up to the 15th of the month.

As the receptionist for my company, I receive hang-up calls from this number. The name does not display on our caller ID, although we pay for that service. Also, our company has no home mortgage, so I think this is a scam posing as WF.

They don't listen.   They asked if they can use the auto dialer to call me.  I said no due to the abusive calling they do.  They, "took me off the list"  but 4 days later they started calling.  The TCPA (Google it) states that since I did not give permission and they are calling a cell phone I have a case where every instance of a phone call results in a $500 fine and up to $1500 depending on the severity.  Text messages are covered under this.
Scared to go to court?  File in small claims.  Your complaint does not have to be written like a big lawyer as if this filed in civil court or federal court.  Just write down the facts, pay the filing fee and get a court date.  Small claims has the same format as Judge Judy.  Instant justice.  Just remember in small claims there will not be a record of the case and there are no appeals.  Most of the time they will contact you to settle.
You can find a lawyers all day long that take FDCA FDCRA and TCPA cases all day long on contingency meaning you don't pay a lawyer fee.
In the settlement everything is negotiable.  you can get a check, payment reduction and depending on the severity and the amount of the debt,  your debt erased.  Don't let them bother you one day longer.

Don't bother complaining to the FCC or BBB.  You won't get anywhere.
Remember small claims allows for the common citizen to take on big corporations.  Everyone is equal.

I am the receptionist for my company and receive hang-up calls from this number. We do business with WF but, as a business, we do not have a home mortgage with them. If WF is calling for an employee, I don't believe they are permitted to contact an employee at his/her work number. It is futile to try calling an individual at a number where the caller must first go through a switchboard, anyway. Apparently, that is why the caller hangs up, but then we continue receiving the calls.

The name Wells Fargo does not show on our caller ID, but the number reported here does.

Debt Collector
This is one of the collections numbers for WellsFargo Home Mortgage's autodialer.
It won't leave a message, and will only connect to a human if you answer the phone.  If you fail to answer, it will roll over to another WFHM site, with a differnt originating number.
Collection calls start on the 2nd of he month, and usually calls 5-6 times a day until you make contact... even then the calls continue until payment is made.

Called constantly for a week and a half 2 to 3 times a day. Never leaves a message. It is wells fargo HM. Very unprofessional not to leave a recorded message for such a large company. I have never missed a payment or been late on any of my 3 Wells Fargo home mortgage's.
