They call 2-3 times a day
It's rediculous

Answered a call from 803-675-7659.  He asked me to verify the last four of my social.  I asked why and he said he could not tell me unless I verified.  He then asked me to verify my address.  I asked what company he was calling from but he said he could not tell me unless I verified my information.  I said no and hung up.  I can't imagine any reputable company refusing to give their name.

Getting calls from 803-675-7659 and suffix's 7439 & 7661. In all instances they never leave a message and in all instances when I call back I get a fast busy & in all but one instance there's no reply when I pickup & answer. In one instance last week, I answered call from 803-675-7661. The caller seemed surprised I answered and he said his name was Alex and he was with ARS. WE have some crappy experience with a junk debt collector ARS aka Associated Recovery Systems aka ARS National. I asked Alex if ARS was Associated Recovery Systems and he replied YES. I attempted to tell him off but he hung up before I got to pal in "lemme tell you pal". FYI, ARS has received 3 separate certified return receipt letters from us demanding they never telephone us for any reason & we have same number they used to harass us at 2 years ago. Now it seems they've started back. In the meantime we found a lawyer in our town who has already busted two junk debt collectors & filed Fed suits on our behalf for calling when notified not to and both lawyer & we have shared several thousand dollars in settlements from those scummy junk debt collectors ... looks like ARS may be next. All this no BS, pure truth!

Well they haven't been busted yet.  Just got my first call from them today.  no message??

Only one call from this number to date.  Did not leave a message though.

Same thing from 803-675-7663 for anyone else out there finding this number. Hey is there any truth in the certified letter thing? Does it work in SC? I know inCT you only have to notify by mouth, but here in SC I don't know.

Got another call from this number tonight, 7:30pm.  They left a message this time, and it is the same guy that called from Michigan another time, and all he says is that his name is David, he "has my file on his desk, and he needs to let the client know what is going to happen."  He doesn't tell me what company he is with, or what they are calling about, and oh, by the way, the number he left to call back is NOT the number he called from.  Instead, he left 866-879-1503, ext. 1105.  I have left a message outgoing on my cell phone, saying that if it is a business call, they need to let me know what it is in reference to and the name of the business, but this guy won't do it.  It is definitely harassment!

I got two phone calls in a row, one from this number and one from 602-476-2011 within five minutes from each other.  They did not leave a message, either of them, and yesterday it was about the seventh time I got one from 760-735-8531, who also didn't leave a number.

It's Associated Recovery Systems aka ARS National Services, Inc. from Escondido California ... They're simply using Global Crossings from South Carolina to provide their sneaky phone service. Global Xing is a Telecom services provider. ARS is a particularly nasty well-known junk debt buyer & collector of charged off credit card debt. In this case, the dumbass collector did tell me his company is ARS ... they also call from 7439, 7659, 7661, 800-245-2867, 800-440-6613. This call began w/ a robocall saying please hold for an important message, I recognized the number so I held on for nearly 5 mins of that crap because I expected I was gonna trap them. See, I'd already sent them 2 letters via USPS certified return receipt demanding they never call again. GOTCHA! It's violation of Fed law. I sued 2 others like them just Spring of 2009. They begged to settle & we got $Ten thousand dollars ... no crap! It's so dang ironic, this call from ARS came while I was watching a new SC ETV production Credit Forum. Ha Ha ARS, you're busted, I know it won't be but a drop in a bucket compared to how much you squeeze out of the uninformed, but I'm gonna enjoy you paying MY bills for a few months.

There's a woman who calls for someone who does not live at my number but she refuses to believe that.  She is very rude and irritating.  She calls all day everyday, even though she gets the same response each time.  She will not take my phone number off of her calling list.  I would like to press charges against her and her company.

I get phone calls from this number at least once a day! I never answer and they never leave a message. It's irritating. I've also gotten calls from 675-7661. I used to live in Columbia, SC, but I've since moved back to an 843 area code, so I have no idea what they would want with me. I'm guessing it's a telemarketer? Jerks!

Same here.  Calls from this number all day.  Been outside working in the yard.  When I got in to answer it, ....hold please, hold please, about ten times and then I just hung up.  They also calling from 675-7661.  When you call either number back its busy.  Wish who every it was would bug off.  They must know something about us though because we are originally from Clover SC. Live know where there now though....dumb a***s.

unknown caller on caller ID on 12/11/2008. Googled as Global Crossings from Clover SC. I believe this might be a telemarketer for a telecommunication company
