Had a phone call from "Fraternal Order of Police 803-693-0753" which when I replied I had a name and number for the organization, which does not do phone solicitation, the caller hung up thanking me for my time.. The York chapter phone number is 803-324-1080 according to the FOP web site for the lodge.

Calls constantly and they are rude

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there?s information on www.scfop.org  . Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for South Carolina police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

Quit bothering people!  I've gotten 37 phone calls from you scammers in the last 2 months.  I've never answered the call - never will.  If I want to donate to any organization I'll do it directly - NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER WILL I DONATE ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE!!

I have reported the South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police to Do Not Call.gov.  I've asked to be not called and it continues.  I hope this ends soon.

Since I have caller ID, I never actually talk to them but they call at all hours and every day of the week including Sunday.  I never donate over the phone.

They kept calling so I would answered it and they would hang up. So I called the number back to see who it was they said it was SCFOP.

told them not to call do not want at&t,so they call everyday.

Did not answer call because it is nobody I recognized.  Did not leave any message on my voice mail.

"Non-Profit"?  Legally perhaps but a Union nontheless.

did you call the number back  - OR DID YOU LOOK UP THE REAL NUMBER for them?  

Of course if you call a scammer back - they will tell you they are legit-  

you have to be willing to look them up yourself - or contact your local PD to get the official number for them.    Your local PD will have the correct contact number for the Fraternal Order of Police in their state.
