They called my Girlfriend and told her she had a virus on her laptop and that they were from Microsoft windows. Said his name was Brandon Smith. Luckily she asked me before she did anything they asked her to do.

First they called my several times from 999-910-0103, then when I questioned this number when I could not call it back the told me they have a Colorado number 803-834-8623.... tried to get my cc info.
Said his name was Brandon Smith! Really w/ a thick indian accent!
THIS IS A SCAM, how did they get my phone number and computer info????

A person who claims he is from Microsoft Support centr wants to access my computer. He has indian accent. He knows my computer ID and some other information. So wired. Who is this guy? a scammer?

Just got a call from them. Actually, I hung up and they called back. Said there was error reports on my computer. I told them I would call Windows if I had a problem. they hung up.

Said they were from Windows in Ontario (with a SC area code) and were calling to help me with a virus problem. I doubt Windows would ever call anyone!
