These people have been calling several times a day for several days now. They are "spoofing" their number to look like they are in-state. Why is spoofing legal for collections agencies? The original purpose for spoofing was legit, but such businesses are abusing that. Who can we file complaints with? This number is actually EOS CCA in Norwell MA with other numbers of 877-206-0314 and 972-392-0468. The "bill" is very much in dispute for Verizon landline and internet charges Verizon claims I owe for services that occurred AFTER I went with another carrier (due to their horrible customer service) and AFTER their wires to my home were no longer hooked up. I will now be filing a complaint with our state's SCC (again). Appears this is their sour grapes answer to losing yet another customer but I won't play with their scam to extort money I don't owe. Don't know why I went with them in the first place because I was warned by so many people of how bad they are. Oh well, live and learn.
