I dont want to switch my car insurance.  If I did I wouldn't do it with a telemarketer.

This number is located in Richmond VA. I simply filter offending numbers to a fake out of order voicemail preventing me  from  having to answer a call at 8PM in the evening. Folks...filter these calls so they do not interrupt your day and/or evening.

I think it is great you are making an effort at earning a living instead of asking the government for hand outs, but you do not have the temperment for cold calling.

If someone tells you they are with the Fart Point Insurance Company then thank them for their time, scratch them off your list and move on.

Don't you think people would be more receptive to you if after you didn't get an answer after 1-3 attempts that you might leave a message instead of just calling them back 90 times which pretty much ensures that if you ever do get through they are going to be rude verbally and also rudely hang up on you?

When you call someone it is the same as being a guest in THEIR home so act accordingly or else expect to be talked to like dirt. A stranger in my house does not want to be rude or pushy with me, I will and absolutely have every right to tell them where to get off with whatever tone I choose.

They called before 9 A.M. and said they were from State Farm. I am on the FEDERAL DO NOT CALL LIST, which they are clearly in violation of, not to mention calling before 9 a.m. Evidently, they don't check numbers to see if they are on do not call list.

Why don't they check first?

When I told her my number was on FEDL DON'T CALL list, she said, "OK, we will put you on our list too," as if their list was the only one that mattered.

Sounds like they are poorly trained to not respect FEDL DO NOT CALL list, and they are not one of the exempt groups...These people that call have difficult jobs, are often poorly trained, and given a bunch of #s that are on FEDL DO NOT CALL list.

The mgt/owners. need to be cited.

Caller from 804-355-1279 left a message on my work phone identifying themselves as HBW Leads indicating the number to call is 503-877-3590 if interested in an insurance quote or to be removed from their call list.

Just so you know jerk this is a free country and unless yesterday that changed and now we are not a free country then this site is fair game as long as I follow the guidelines. We do follow the DNC to the letter by law and TM companies buy the disk from the government DNC people that has all of you jerks who are rude to us phone numbers on it and download it and have to pay $70.00 a year for it. The government did nothing but make extra revenue on it. Then what is left we can call. Including myself there are 10 of us who have 4 year degrees working up here and not collecting welfare and trying. I also have taken many computer classes as well. I did not wake up one morning and decided my knees would be out or that I wanted to be disabled. What next will there be a list of people who sign up that say they cannot be approached in a store and have anything sold to them? This would be called a national No Sell to me Anything list so you can have millions of other businesses go out of business so the low tax base can be much worse than it is now. Arn't things bad enough as far as the huge unemployment rate? You cannot do anything to us by phone and hope that someone at a call center has the guts to tell you off. Yesterday a kid in the 915 area code in Texas said he was 18 and knew that he was not. I asked him what the name of his insurance company was because it was my job and he said it was the Fart Point Insurance company. I am sure he did not have a thing to do but to mess with someone only trying to earn a living. Kid you need to come on down here at our center and have to do hours of community service working our phones.  I am sure you are sitting at home mooching off your parents and not mowing lawns this year and all you have to do was to mess with us.  That is sad. I will never forget your utter ignorance or childness in a million years. As for rudeness on the phones until it is acknowledged in society that this is unacceptable it will go on no matter what you have to do on a phone. So far 99% of businesses work on the phone and they do not deserve either to be talked to like dirt by jerks like you sir. They are only trying to earn a living. My friend was extremely rude to a business here in the town we are in and she was banned from the business permanantly. In 2005 also someone was abusive to a telemarketer at a home security company and the company got it on tape and the man was fined $10000 for that and had to pay it. There are stories on the internet all the time where people have had to pay fines for this.

Oh, boohoo...You are the problem, but you can't see it.

I work in this call center and have to from two bad car wrecks leaving me physically and emotionally challenged and there are 9 of us working here that are disabled. We can talk to anyone who drives and the lists we get are bad and outdated and there is nothing we can do about it per the bosses here. You should of not been hung up on and he needed to acknowledge your request. But rudeness seems to be the norm in society because many people have not been taught that this is wrong and also treat all entry level workers that are only trying to survive and pay bills like crap. Every public place I have been to is like this where there is someone being a jerk to an entry level worker at a counter or desk because they feel like they can and have to for some reason. Yesterday got a man in the 716 area code who said I should of been able to see through the phone that he had a business and he said 5 cuss words to me for no reason. Then someone in the 651 area code I asked if it was a business or a residence due to how that person answered. They then banged it down without saying a thing. Businesses like that will fail for sure. A kid in the 763 area code in Minnesota I asked for a "Christine" and the phone line sounded like an echo and was in a tunnel which led me to believe it was a skype or internet phone or TTY phone. He or she did not say it was or not and once the name was said the phone was banged down by the kid. This happens all the time at least 4 calls by kids doing this happens and they just bang it down without saying a word. They are isolated and playing games or something and they try to look at the caller id box and get it to tell them what to do and what to say. It will not help you at all because I have caller id on my phone and it tells you just a number. People that we call are isolated and think that is why they feel that they can get away with doing or saying anything because they cannot see us and no one has ever taught them proper phone manners. Education is the key here and due to severe budget cuts everwhere now that is not going to happen so society will degrade at a rapid rate each and every year from now on.

I got this call today. A man said he is from Allstate. I told him: 'Sorry, have no money to help you'. He hung up. Later I found out he is from HBW (Virginia).

Called me, caller ID said HBW.  I wasn't home, no voice mail.  Probably spam.

I received a call this morning from 804-335-1279. When I said hello the telemarketer said "Who do you use for your auto insurance." I asked him who he was trying to reach and he replied "You." I asked him again who he was trying to reach and he said "I am a telemarketer I am trying to reach the world." I asked him to remove me from his calling list and he hung up on me.

I can't return the call.  The phone says the number you have called is no longer in service.

I got a call from this number too from HBW today. When i said hello they didn't answer so I hung up. They seem like scammers.

I have been getting hang ups as soon as I answer. I finally got caller ID and it displayed this phone number (804)335-1279, I find this anoying and want it to stop!

I get at least 2 calls a day freom this number, but I never answer it. I don't answer when I don't know who is calling, but on my answering machine, I say if you are selling something, I already have it or I don't need it, please hang up.

Called me at work.

They have called me for 3 days straight I looked online and it says they are located in Virginia I have also gotten the Allstate call like the rest of you in the last few days also

I called the number back and got an answering machine that it was HBW.  The message was along the lines of, "If you would like an auto compare quote leave your name and phone number and a representative will get back with you".

I just received a call from this telephone number.  I like someone else was told that they were calling from Allstate Insurance and asked if I wanted a quote.

this number just called me as allstate auto insurance. asking me if i wanted a compared quote. stupidly i said yes, the questions that were asked involved my car, my address, my age (i didnt give my birthyear) and told me i would recieve a phone call in 3 business days. scam, the number is located in richmond virginia.

It is kinda messed up that they use what looks like a cell phone number calling you.

It's a number for Wells Fargo soliciting new products from bank.   You can opt to have your number removed, but they just mainly call their current customers.

Id said it was wells fargo, 2nd time they have called.  You can hear someone on other end but they never answer even after you saying hello a few times.  Why are they trying to cover up who they are by using new numbers to look like they are local or a cellphone call?
