This number calls repeatedly to my home in Canada. I now have them blocked. No phone # advertised and no business name shows on ID. Scammers?

RE: TriVOX VN100 - you can order from AFCO Electronics, I just ordered one and in process of hooking it up. Have not taken it live yet. www.afcoelectronics.com you might have to ask them as it was not on their web site.

Unforunately, you can't even trust unknown numbers in your own area code. I got a call from a number in my area code that I didn't recognize, and when I looked up the number it was a debt collection company that's located in Illinois. I'm in Texas. I don't owe anyone any money (debt free). It's so annoying that they get a phone number, then call relentlessly... and when it's not you they're looking for, it's even more annoying. Yes, the national "do not call" registry was, and is, a joke.

Just got another call from 971-208-9947.  I wish they would buzz off!  The DNC list is useless.

I get a call from this number at least once a week.  It is a recording about taking a survey. I would like to get it eliminated from my phone.

FRAUD!!!  call 888-382-1222 it's the automated system for donotcall.gov and say how they claim to be a political survey on their caller id, yet are  trying to get your credit card numbers right away as they say you have won a cruise

Been getting calls from this #, they claim they are a collection agency for Rogers Cell phone and I owe them $128. since 1995 and it has been in the collection agency since 2008. I told them to stop calling and she said that unless I pay it will effect my credit rating. Im so pissed!!! Scammers get a real job!

Received a call at 7:33 PM PDT. Did not recognize the number so I did not answer.

I got a call from 971-208-9947 on my cell phone today [6-28] but I missed the call and when I found it, I checked here before calling as I did not recogonize the number. I am on the "Do Not Call" list , landline & cell phone. Texas is pretty tough on these kind of calls but it h--l trying to find out who is calling.

Also received a call from this number 13 hours ago - missed it, and they left no voicemail. Getting way too much of this garbage, these calls count as minutes on our cell phones even if unanswered!

That works when the number on caller id is not bogus.

As this isn't an 800- number, I would suggest waiting until the call disconnects, then call the Operator and ask them to place a COLLECT call to the party 971-208-9947.  With enough proactive but quiet protest, they should amend their ways pretty quick.  Just sayin'

I'm in Canada... this call was from Oregon reguarding the upcomming american election and they promised me a free cruise... they did not deliver but after the servey (which I just faked my way though) the cost was actually more than if I drove to the port and booked the cruise myself... what a scam.

I just got one of these too. Answered 3rd ring and nothing there.
I have my number set up, so as they have to enter their number for ID to even get my phone to ring.
Now they are on the, you won't get it to ring again list. lol  Call rejection!!
And yes, that gov.donotcall, is such a joke!!! Cell phone,  private house number and so on.
I think the gov, just found another way to make money at our expense. Selling our numbers.
AT&T has a good call forwarding feature. You can pick numbers to forward, send telemarketers numbers back to them selves. They stop calling..

got a call just minutes ago find this site after typing the number in which was 971-208-9947 on this date of 6/28/2012.  rang 3 times i went ahead and picked up the phone and listen no one on the other end. said hello and they hang up.

I received a missed call from this number and goofy me called back.  They said I had won $2500 that was to be used for a trip to Cancun.  The recorded message did offer to select to opt my number out, which I did.  Let's see if it really opted me out.
