They called at 8:00am and wanted me to make a donation for the Police. They wanted my address and credit card information. Of course I didn't give any personal information and the girl on the other line got frustrated and hung up on me!

they called multiple times claiming to be from FOP when i asked him a couple times what that is he wasn't happy. They called me back from another 804-335-1908 which showed up as ICORE NETWORK.
FOP??? i dont think so!

calling from both 804-335-1908 and 301-768-4302 with the same msg (if you answer - they don't leave a msg on the recorder). Icore networks came up under the 804 number (not sure about the 301 number). My wife heard on the news last night that if anyone calls saying they are from the police protection dep looking for donations they are fraud and should be reported!

first, they called at 8 am!!! Ticked me off, woke up a sick child. Claimed to be from the fraternal order of police, but the caller id said richmond, va. First call was from 804-205-3005, and they said they were calling from the fraternal order of police. i turned them down, they were pushy, but I was mad. Hung up and 2 SECONDS later, this second call came from 804-335-1908. This time the caller id said Icore Networks, but same area code. Hung up phone during the ringing, and researched number. 2 different numbers, one seconds after the other, both claiming to be the police...... Don't give--they sound really suspicious.....and come on, call at 8 am?? Isn't that illegal? Yeah, right, the police calling........And wow, look at some earlier postings....how many different numbers can the virginia police have, to make telemarketing calls? I'm filing a complaint.

Got a call from 540-318-7335 claiming to be on behalf of the Fraternal Order of Police in Virginia. Their "Records Department" called from 804-315-1908. I didn't answer but they let it ring and ring and ring. I have an unlisted number. Will report to the local authorities.
