I got same by the same people 3 days ago.

Unknown number to me.

I'm an attorney in Houston.  My Client received the "Joe Campbell" call and someone name Sgt. David claiming to be DEA and threatening to arrest my client if doesn't answer some questions about ordering meds.  I called "Agent Campbell" and he gave me the name of an Assistant United States Attorney, William Ross.  After checking with the Justice Department there is no record of an AUSA, William Ross at Langley, Virginia.  After repeated calls to "Agent Campbell" he refused to give me the phone number of the AUSA or a fax number to his office.  Different people answer the phone when I call and they are evasive and refuse to give out information.  My suspicions aroused, I started checking around and that's when I came upon this site.  I'm about to report this matter to police and DEA.  My client was very upset and frightened by this scam.  The number he used is 434-219-0172.

i received the same call, telling me I was in a lot of trouble and had better call him, Special Agent, David Freeman, immediately.

I just got the same phone call from the same 2 people. Thank God I looked this number up while I was talking to one of them. They don't even sound legit~

Two agents, David Freeman and Joe Campbell threatened to have me arrested immediately for a supposed package from 5 years ago.  they gave me phone number, badge-3834 and said I could avoid being arrested if I paid a fine.  The fine was $3500.  I said I could not afford so they would split it up into 3 payments.  Googled the phone number they gave and told them that this has been reported previously as a scam and fraud with at least Campbell's name, he threatened me again and I just kept reading previous posts, he finally just hung up.

I got a call from this number this morning; he identified himself as DEA & said they had a package of phentermine with my name on it and wanted to know when the last time I ordered medicine online was. I knew this was all a total scam because I get sales calls ALL THE TIME -- - all because I ordered medicine online 6 1/2 years ago and they won't give up trying to sell over the phone even to this day. Interesting that they've found a new angle -- I sure hope no one ever falls for this. I ordered ONE month of medicine and did not do anything illegal. Furthermore, I did this a very long time ago. IF the DEA really had questions they would have someone contact me who is a little more professional (and quite frankly, with a better command of the English language). I gave no information, I said I don't believe you are DEA thank you goodbye.
Again, I sincerely hope that no one ever falls for this scam.

I received a call today from this number saying he was Special Agent Joe Campbell from Border Control in Langley Virgina DEA , saying they had a package for me at the boarder with illegal drugs in it and asked if I ever ordered any meds on line and I said yes years ago a diet aid and he said that there was a package being delivered to my home I told him that I ordered that 5 or 6 years ago and when it came I was afraid to take it and never ordered again. He continued to say that Federal Agents were on their  way to pick me up with a warrent for my arrest. To make a long story short he is very belivable my husband go on the phone he repeated the same information to my husband an he  thought it may be a scam so he asked how much the fine was and the fellow said she will find out  when she is being released at the Federal Builing you will find out. !  I called my local police the came to my place of business and called the number back and so called agent gave the police a hard time as well. We googled the number found its and extortion scam and report it to 1-877-792-2873! Donn't give payment information to these people!

said his name was joe perez and he was a dea officer and had police around the corner waiting to arrest me if i didn't cooperate. called back 5 or 6 times. threatening and intimidating

nasty beligerant  claiming to be DEA  said I would be arrested if I didnt cooperate> called back 6 times

said found a package with my name on, said he was from the dea
