No they didn't.

It's illegal to require an advance payment for a loan (at least in our country, no idea about your third world hellhole). Of course, you and I both know THERE IS NO LOAN.

Bad day in the boiler room, huh scammer?

They keep calling asking for the same person that I have told them several times they have the wrong number. I have a new cell phone and have been harassed ever since I have received this new cell and number. I am sick of being harassed and pissed off esp when they call 5 times in 10 mins!

They have called so many times from various numbers, what I did was call them back 17 times in a row (they hang up on my alot) and ask how thier day is, tell them since they call me after I have repeatedly told them not to I WILL call them the same. They get really angry :) I ask what they ate for lunch, how thier family is, do they need friends, the seem awfully lonely to keep calling after being asked not to so many times. I really threw them for a loop. Then when they called back (because they are idiots and do) I say oh its you again, Im sorry you have no friends, what can I do, and I ask as random and stupid questions as possible until they don't want to talk to me anymore.

I have received many calls from this number and have known it is a scam loan offer.  I finally answered today just to "mess" with them.  After the man asked for *my name* I said he had the wrong number. He then asked if I needed a loan. I said how wonderful, yes!  $8,000 will be great.  He immediately told me the APR and what my monthly payments will be.  I then commented, how amazing they are to offer me an $8,000 loan and don't know my name or any of my personal info.  He said he will get to that later.  I then told him, I don't think I am interested afterall, and hung up.  He immediately called back and said we hadn't gone over my loan details.  I finally told him, this scam is all over the internet and news, and no way in hell am I falling for this and hung up on him again.  He has yet to call back!  I am so freaking tired of the CONSTANT calling.  I am reluctantly changing my phone number! But, it will be worth it!  Total and complete scam!!!!

I wascalled by an Indian from the same number.  He kept asking me to buy green dot cards.  He told me to purchase one for 295.00, and I would get my money.  Well, dumbass me is now 1500.00 out of money, and he threatened to take money out of my account.  I called my bank, and hopefully, he won't get to any of my funds.

Single women and single mothers with children:  Watch out!   The Indian loan scammers like to target  women because they think they are ignorant and vulnerable.

They research the numbers they call (because they often have data about their targets) when it comes to loan scams,  and they customize their search for victims.

Rule:  If someone with an Indian accent calls you out of the blue and offers you something or threatens you about something, it is a scam and hang up immediately.   DO NOT EVER SEND MONEY TO ANYONE YOU DO NOT KNOW!  AND DO NOT GIVE STRANGER FINANCIAL INFORMATION.

AND REMEMBER prepayment charges are always  in most American states.
