Sounds like the same idiot that just called our workplace asking for an employee that no longer works here.  I politely told him that the person no longer works here and then he asked again. At that point, I replied again that he no longer works here and said "Thank you and have a nice day" and hung up the phone.  At that point, he called right back and asked for a manager.  No manager wants to deal with that!  So, I told him he could not speak to a manager and to please not call again and I hung up.  He then preceeded to call my work number over 50 times in a row back to back to the point I could not even make a call out or really receive any since he must have speed dial or something.  It was very rude and I have never had any solicitor or bill collector do that in my 25 years of answering phones.  I was able to block him for now.  I pray he does not call back any time soon.

As I was typing this, the b****ole called again from another number.  I blocked this too, but I feel this will probably continue.  I imagine this guy is having a slow day and has time to annoy innocent people who actually do pay their bills.  And now another number.. Wow.. what a day.

This "gentleman" called our office to speak to an employee who no longer works here.  He demanded to speak to her supervisor and I had to explain twice that they were not in the office.  He wanted to leave the supervisor a message.  When our supervisor got the message, she could barely understand a word the guy was saying.  He gave his name as Richard Carter and had a very heavy Indian accent.

I have been getting calls from this guy .. although he isn't screaming you can tell he is not a professional. My husband wants me to call the police But, I do not believe they will do anything. He says it is a payday load he has my info including my ID number bank and acct numbers. Which is odd since I have not given them out. He even knows my source of income. Be very aware if they do not sound professional or call you "criminal" it is a scammer

This number called our office phones about 40 times in 10 minutes, looking for an employee who is not allowed calls here.  We repeatedly asked him to remove our number but he started screaming at us and then hanging up.  He would redial and the next line would be ringing while he was still on the first line.  This has gone on for weeks...

He says his name is William from "litigation department" and has a thick East Indian accent.  He is highly volatile and extremely rude.  Do not engage this person.

They also claim to have sent me emails, which I have not received. WHen I said I had never received an email, he said that that means I provided a fradulent email account and that they would sue me because of that. And he also refused to try to resend anything via email. WHen I threatened legal action he got really irritated but didn't hang up.

I have spoken to them multiple times, asked them to send me something in the mail, and they're still calling and called my work yesterday. He refused to send me anything in the mail without legal action being taken. So basically he said he wouldn't send confirmation in the mail of the amount, he would just take "legal action" which he couldn't really explain. The message left at work said that they are investigating my office as well, which is ridiculous. I don't know what to do and don't have the money to pay for a lawyer. What should I do?!

Remember:  A legitimate debt collector WILL NOT harass, disrespect, or violate your privacy by contacting your employer, friends or family when have you expressed the preferred method by which you want to be contacted.  A legitimate debt collect WILL mail you written confirmation of the amount you owe and detailed  information and steps to take if you wish to dispute the amount. This written confirmation will usually be sent within week of their initial contact to you by phone.  Again, if they do not send you any sort of invoice, they are NOT LEGITIMATE.

Don't get scammed by illegal payday loan lenders, especially if they cannot even speak English.  Check with your state's banking authority and if you find the lender is not registered in your state, the company is likely not legitimate or can not enforce the loan in your state.  They will try to threaten you with legal actions and try to use official language, but don't be fooled.  They are only trying to get access to your banking account information.  If they already have your banking information, CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT and open a new account somewhere else.  Ignore harassing telephone calls and tell them to put it in writing.  If they are not sending you anything by mail or unwilling to give you a valid mailing address, it is a good chance they are NOT LEGITIMATE!!!  Pass this on, its time we fight back against all those scammers out there. It is time we put a stop to the harassing phones and threats. Thanks!
