Caller ID showed: KING5 NEWS POLL
Received this call just a few minutes after another bogus call from 312.775.1287
Suspect its the same moron !

Had to spend $0.95 just for Qwest Comm (*69 Service) to tell me that this was the number that called me around 5:30 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2009. Same MO as reported above - when I answered, someone (or some-thing) promptly hung-up after I said "hello" ...
Although I live in Seattle, the area code "805" appears to be in the Simi ("Seamy"?) Valley area of California (though King 5 News is based in Seattle).
What a robotic/moronic world we live in ... !

Called our public safety emergency number which is on the DO NOT CALL list, and therefore which is doubly illegal to call with an autodialer.Recorded message said it was a poll from King 5 News and that the info on the poll would be on the news tonight. The first poll question (which I hung up on) was a question about whether I thought Obama was doing a good job or not.

805-210-3128 called.. As others say it said "KING5 NEWS POLL", but leaves no messages.. Called King 5 TV in Seattle and they said they do conduct telephone polls and use an external company to run them. She did not know what number or name shows up on the caller ID when they call you.
