805-893-.... Numbers are from UCSB Campus, and calls in the evening are very likely the Annual Fund. They call alumni, parents of current students, and current students for donations.

Yep yep, the 893 numbers are all the UCSB people calling for donations...if you get them on phone it takes forever to get them off...

I have been receiving daily calls from this number. They occur usually in the evening and I always happen to be away from my phone. They never leave a message, and when I call back it continues to ring with no answer.

He identifies himself as UCSB alumni. He asked for specific information about my daughter including her cell number.

I went to UCSB.  The campus phones start with 893.  I just got a call but no message.  Is this maybe the Alumni Fund.  They call up grads and ask for donations.

I'm not an alumuna yet.  Why would this guy be calling me and how did they get my number?  And why doesn't this number appear on the campus website.  This is too creepy.  I'm going to report it.
