DAMMIT INDIA STOP CALLING ME!!!

They are Global Vantedge (sic) calling on behalf of MBNA

Had a few missed calls from this number.
Answered it earlier and they claimed to be a third party company acting on behalf of virgin credit cards.
Now I have an account with virgin but I refused to give the guy any information until he told me why they were calling me and not virgin themselves. He hung up.

got rung today around dinner time and didnt know my phone was ringing until i got my phone out my pocket (it was on silent) and i had a missed call,
i have nothing to do with any banks or payments? i dont have a bank account and ive never registered anything on my phone or SIM so how did they get my number??!

I've had 2 calls and a text claiming to be global vantage on behalf of abbey, asking for my mothers mmaiden name and my place of birth. Refused to give them any info and then got text. Am very suspicious cos I know that I'm not in arreas with anything

this is global vantage a compny that works on behalf of mbna credit card services. i had 4 missed called off this number whilst at work. then a text asking me to ring a different number

To confirm, it is MBNA (in my case on behalf of a virgin credit card), presumably chasing a payment.

I had a call this morning from +8081013403.
I would like to know how they got my number.

Feckin' numb nuts hang up each time I answer! Time wasters! Why do they do this!??? I am so fed up with this!!!!

This number calls me on a daily basis! They will call my home number and if I answer they hang up, 1471 says the caller's witheld their number, but moments later my mobile rings and if I answer (I now reject it each time!) it hangs up!

If they are MBNA, why don't they speak to me!? IDIOTS!!!

This number is from a 3rd party debt collector that calls on behalf of banks etc when you are in arrears.

Best to call your bank, credit card companies directly IMHO

I don’t pick up calls from numbers with + in front of them, unless I know the number (and person)

I have contacted my bank (Coutts) and they were very helpful, calling me back from their UK 0800 number.  I spoke with a fraud manager who has since emailed me the information below about +808 numbers – be warned, and DONT pick up.

I had the same today. They wanted to check my mothers maiden name and birthdate having rung me. I hung up and called A&L, who they claimed to be calling on behalf of. The person I spoke to said that A&L had nobody who would be calling on their behalf and I am awaiting an official response from them on the matter.

This person wanted to know certain personal details befor he would tell me the reason for the phone call. Told him no. Then he continued saying the same things, just hung up in the end, giving him no details.

Just found out its MBNA calling on behalf of Abbey so assume its MBNA calling re credit cards

Just had lloyds on a different number so this one is Alliance and Leicester

I was going into the doctors when I got this call. Said they were LLoyds bank or alliance and leicester sorry cant remember as Ive had nuisance calls off both I hung up, but at least Ive narrowed it down to 2?

This number called me and asked for my husband, told them they had the wrong number and they hung up. Not sure why they have my number to my husbands name but can only assume its from our details on the net from a insurance quote or something and have been sold on??????

This number called me this afternoon. I was in the hairdressers and didn't answer and I'm glad that I didn't after reading comments on the number that called. Just hope that the number doesn't caller again like Vanessa.
