This number just called my cell 5 minutes ago for the first time ever, so I didn't answer.  A young lady left a message but never identified her name or company.  She started the message by saying, "We found a solution that can lower your interest rates to 1.5% and possibly cut your payments in half."  After that she left this number... 1-877-723-1427 and said there will be no more courtesy calls after this.  
I have no idea what she is talking about.  I am not making payments on anything or even have any credit cards.

10/20/2010 - Received a call from this number.  Nothing said, no message left; however, stayed on line for 38 minutes.

Just got this call, didn't answer, didn't leave a message

I just got a call from "Ashley" as well saying this was a final courtesy call about solving my credit problem.  Seeing as I have no credit card debt or even a balance, I decided to look this up.  I see I am not the only one and this wasn't a wrong number... just a scam.

Got this call on my personal cell number while in the shower. Was not able to get out in time to answer, now I'm glad I didn't! They didnt leave a message

Some one just called me from this number like 20 minutes ago, tooooo! wtf.

I received a call from this number about 11 minutes ago. I heard a male voice; however, it almost sounded automated. He said hello and then the call went silent and shortly after hung up. I tried to reverse lookup the number on 411.com and there was no name listed but it came up as a number located in Almont, MI. I tried calling the number back and it wouldn't go through. I applied for a Bookkeeper job on Craigslist with C.S. Brunt Inc. and it turned out to be a scam and I'm wondering if this is related.

These are telemarketers for a debt consolidation company.

- First the telemarketer from God knows what company calls and leaves a cryptic message about your credit card and payments.  Makes you worry that your behind, or missed a payment.  Says this is the last "courtesy call" - which just re-enforces that feat.  (Real sneaky)

-I call the number back, and it just hangs up.  Typical...

-The message said to call this number 1(877) 723-1427.  So I call it, and sure enough it's a debt consolidation firm hocking thier crap.

I just got a call from the same number about 15 minutes ago. What is the point of putting your number on the DO NOT CALL LIST! I'm sick and tired of reporting these different numbers. These clowns think we have nothing better to do then listen to an answering machine.

I just got a call from this # 10minutes and she left me a message...about lower rates and she wanted me to call back at 1-877#.  Annoying!!

I received a message from a women saying per our previous conversation she can lower my rates.......nope, not me.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer, and they did not leave a message.

Received a call, caller was silent for a few seconds when i said 'Hello', then hung up.

spam. left voice mail of a recording talking about lowering my interest rates.

And you call back and get like a busy or disconnected signal. Stop calling!

I just got this call! Why would I get this on my cell #? Btw...I heard something in what sounded like a foriegn language and then silence.

Just called and left a message like she knew me. Something about lowering interest rates on mortgage and credit card. Said her name was Ashley James, or something like that. She made it sound like we had spoke before, we have not. And....this was on my work phone.

I just received a call from this # and they left a message on my voicemail saying it was a courtesy call to lower my rates.  SCAM!
